Regular chain hotelPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Location, size of the room, view, staff and flexibility
Cons: improve the interior of rooms, little things like providing cups and saucers instead of coffee machine recyclable cups for tea/coffee.
Location: Saturday market, Sunday arts and crafts - both along Bvd Edgar Quinet, Montparnasse cemetery where who's who of Paris are buried, Montparnasse tower
As with most mass market chains, the pictures on the website wildly differs from the real thing. It was generally clean although has a very aged interior to it. Contrary to the promise, we never got complimentary mineral water and you get recyclable cups, not tea cups/mugs, for tea and coffee. Bedding was generally clean and the pillows nice and fluffy. We stayed with our 2 girls (2 and 6) and they had their own bed and was very happy. TV has mainly french channels and only the news channels are English. So be prepared with movies in your iPad if taking kids. Didn't have any meals there so cannot comment on the quality. The front desk was helpful in allowing us to check out at 2 pm instead of the published 12 noon. It's very central and is within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, Saturday and Sunday markets and several metro lines such as Montparnasse Binvenue, Gaite and Edgar Quinet linking into the city and rest of Paris.

Nice hotel..the closest train station 5 min walkPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Good accommodation for the good price
Cons: I wish the surrounding area where is a metro station is cleaner and have nice shops green trees etc
Location: metro station is near by. If you walk further down from the metro station you will find nice shops and restaurants. But nothing around hotel.
We have used train all the time. 5 min walk from the hotel. no nice shops around.. but if you walk further you will be suprised

Perfect experience. Swift check in, fantastic room. Even got a free upgrade for both rooms I booked! Great views (20th floor) and an amazing location. Pringles in the mini bar were €10... Lol

DisgustingPosted Mar 31, 2014
Toilet and floor were dirty. There was Left over open milk with no tea or coffee. Boiler dirty had it replaced three times. The third one was clean but defective had to press button 5 times and wait in between for thermostat to reset taking 15 minutes to get a hot cup of tea. Hair Dryer disgusting.

Close to Centre of Paris, Great viewsPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Free Slippers, Quiet room, and a good Sleep
Cons: Cleanliness and attention to detail within the room
Location: Montparnasse station leads you into the Centre of Paris, There is a small market nearby but i would stick to the Main centre of Paris
We stayed here last minute and caught a great deal with Expedia, we booked this hotel for me and my wife and our 3 kids for 1 night The location was perfect, very close to the Metro and within minutes you can be in the centre of Paris, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, etc are all easily accessible via Montparnasse bienvenue station The room was slightly dirty, and the Carpet had stains throughout, the bathroom was not spotless as you would expect from a 4 star, the Staff were friendly enough, and the Beds were very comfortable, the temp of the room was easily controlled via the Air con unit, and was very comfortable Great view from the 12th Floor, but i would recommend a higher level as the view was slightly obscured by buildings, we could see the eiffel tower from our room but only if we squashed our faces against the glass!! other rooms i am sure don't have the problem! Breakfast for our family was 52 Euros, which we paid locally, The Children were free, and everything was on offer, from croissants, Fruit, sausages, eggs, and bacon, plenty of bread and expensive danone yogurts were all included, there was unlimited Tea and coffee including the New espresso machine (George Clooney advert) So the 5 of us ate as much as we could for a mere 52 Euros which we feel was great value for money and would recommend this if you didn't want to venture out in the morning Reception/lounge area was AMAZING! very modern and state of the art!

Clean, acceptable hotel in dull locationPosted Feb 24, 2014
Drinks a ridiculous price and the size of thimbles. Don't drink in the hotel bar! Everything else was ok. Room was clean, warm and acceptable

Great Hotel in modern area of ParisPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean and as described. Staff very helpful and polite.
Location: Easy to access Metro and Air France Airport Coaches drop off / pick up across the road.
Ideal hotel for exploring Paris, easy access to Metro and Air France Airport Transfer service picks up and drops off right across the road. Room was comfortable and clean and as described. Staff very helpful and polite. Didn't use the breakfast / restaurant facilities but overall the hotel looks very modern and stylish, probably more frequented by business users from what we saw on our stay.
