“Fab location - Value for money”

This is a private apartment a block from the Seine and Notre Dame. The location is fantastic, on a little street with cafes and restaurants, Jazz clubs down the street and everything that comes to mind when you think Quartier Latin. You must undrestand that this is not a hotel. It's a private apartment. There is no sign on the door and there's no lobby or concierge. So you live like a local. The owner was really accessible by phone and very accommodating. She had her guy waiting for us at the time we said we would arrive to give us the keys and show us the apartment. He was really helpful and came back a couple of times to check if we needed anything. There is no aircon in the apartment so he brought us a fan. No big deal, as it was cool in Paris and the windows were wide (we even had a little balcony overlooking the roofs of Paris). This is a studio with a double bed and a 2-person fouton, kitchenette and a nice bathroom. For 4 friends having a ball in Paris it's perfect - instead of paying staying in a hostel with the bathroom down the hall, for that rate times 4 we stayed in a nice apartment. Again, this is not a hotel and if you want service and luxury, it's not for you. But value for money (cook a few meals so you don't have to pay through the nose every time) it was perfect. Two notes: Only cash payment accepted; and the key was finicky so make sure you try it before the guy leaves. Bon voyage!
