Nice hotel, good location, friendly staffPosted Mar 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here with my 4 year old niece in a standard double room. The hotel reception was very nice and the staff were really friendly. The lift was a little small and a bit noisy during the night. The room was cosy with about a foot of room up the sides of the bed but did have a tv on the wall and a balcony. The bathroom was a bit strange with a full bath and only a half high shower. The toilet was next to the bath so as a big set chap it wasn't great. Overall the hotel was nice and in a quiet but accessible street only 5 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. Would stay again.

Good location, OK servicePosted Jul 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was an OK stay, no major issues but not that great either. One problem was the hotel does not have any space to pull over a car to unload your stuff and check in. Tiny but very busy one way street, and you cannot even stop your car for a second since there are cars right behind you. If you have a car with you, don't think about staying here.

ok stay for sleep onlyPosted May 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Paris is expensive. For this price, sleep only hotel. Location is good, 5min walk to subway station. 15min subway to downtown Paris / major attractions, cost €1.7 per person each way.

Good hotel with a few points to think about.Posted Sep 29, 2012
The double bed is too small for 2 person and the pillow is extremely poor. However other aspects of the hotel is excellent for the price. Do note the breakfast is prett costly.

Good base for exploring Paris.Posted Sep 2, 2012
The only downside to our room was the bathtub shower arrangement. The shower was provided by a hose connection to the faucet, but there was no shower curtain or shower glass containment so you had to be careful to not not spray the bathroom itself. If you were tall, this might be challenging. The staff was very helpful and the location is not far from Gare du Nord and Gar del Este. Everyone spoke English well. Close to a metro station. Quiet neighborhood;

Close to Gare Du NordPosted Jul 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was ok for what it was, a stopover before returning home. Not to bad a location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff but rooms could do with a refurb and a terrible shower.

Good value hotel, clean and comfortablePosted Jun 19, 2012
Clean hotel, convenient for metro and city locations. Area is a bit run down but hotel price is good value for money for Paris, so you have to ignore the area to a certain extent.

Good basic hotel at a reasonable pricePosted Mar 10, 2012
Very convenient for Gare du Nord (10-15min walk). You will need to walk 20-30 min to get to many of the tourist spots but there is a Metro nearby and often other interesting shops and sites on the way. Our room was very clean, basic and tidy. It was small, especially the bathroom and combined with narrow corridors and lift it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility restrictions. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and all spoke english if necessary. The area is quiet and felt safe. We didn't have breakfast there but chose local cafes of which there are many as well as shops and supermarkets. They do have a luggage storage room if departing after check-out.

Hotel Relais Du Pre ParisPosted Mar 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was excellent. 2min walk to Poisonnere metro which takes you to everything. ( Better to walk there down La Fayette from Gare du Nord and turn at the park to find the hotel.) Be very careful of pickpockets around Gare du Nord. We foiled a theif who had probably followed us and was about to rob us when we stopped and turned into the hotel. There is a supermarket called Montrop or something like that on La Fayette on the way to the metro. Great for fruit, water, yogurt, snacks for a family with a young child. When you've had enough french/italian food as we had after 2 1/2 weeks there is great chinese hand made noodles and soups etc on Rue de Trevise.( 2min walk.) We were there in winter so sometimes it's great for a quick, cheap early meal after a long day of sightseeing. Also a bistro which does dinner and set breakfast for 5Euro at other end of Rue de Trevise and a coin laundry which we used was very handy. Freddy on reception was excellent. Helpful, Friendly, and very informative. Did not use the Hop on off bus as wait too long in winter for next bus. Would be better in summer timetable. Metro was better and you can get 10 tickets ( Carte ) for approx 12.50euro. and cheaper for a child to use on bus or metro. They dont expire so can use over several days.

Nice hotel with good location and nice pricesPosted Nov 22, 2011
Had 2 days in this hotel, I will say that was good value for money. Nice location near the Opera, you could easily get there by walk (15-20 min), comfortable room, but breakfasts were too simple. I will recommend to visit some cafe near the hotel for a breakfast rather then have it the hotel
