"Romantic, cosy typically french hotel"
Arrived to find a romantic, dimly lit reception hall, a very welcome sight, deep red decor, really stunning. The bar was very cool, jazz playing, photos of french film stars on the walls. We had a fabulous gin and tonic!
Our room was on the fifth floor. It was a small but perfectly formed room.... beautifully decorated in toile de jouy, with immaculate furnishings, no wall paper... But fabric on the walls, very special, and stylish. Lovely soft lighting, cute shower room, fabulous shower! Hermes toiletries and gorgeous towels and robes. Flat screen tv on wall, mini bar, etc.
If you want a minimal, large light bright room, you won't like it.....if you like french romantic, cosy, warm atmospheric, you will love it!
You don't need a big room if your just sleeping here, hopefully you'll be out and about seeing the sights! To come back to this hotel was a delight, welcoming, helpful and relaxing. Very quiet both nights, not a noisy hotel and very quiet street.
