Lovely hotelPosted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Friendliness of staff, location,
Cons: Nothing really
When we saw our room, I have to confess for a few minutes we were a little disappointed as it was very small, but once you see past that, it was really rather nice. It had a very tiny bathroom but it was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The reception area was very nice and the breakfast room in the basement was stunning. All lovely arched stone walls, very nice. Breakfast was good, cereals, toast croissants, scrambled eggs etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel looks out onto a small square with fountains with one or two bars and restaurants. Notre Dame was only about 5-10 minutes walk away so a good location too. One of the receptionists recommended a local restaurant which was only five minutes walk away where we had the most delicious meal. We would never have come across this restaurant without his suggestion. All in all a really lovely place to stay if you're looking for something small and friendly. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Less Than 50 Steps to the SorbonnePosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Excellent location
Our room was on the first floor, the window overlooking the fountains in front of the beautiful Sorbonne. How perfect is that? Despite how busy it was outdoors, our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff were courteous and professional. The location is convenient - a few blocks from the Metro station and a reasonable walk to many iconic landmarks. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops just outside the door.

erinomainen hotelli rauhallisella alueellaPosted Jul 26, 2015

Loved the fountains in the square outsidePosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, restaurants nearby.
Cons: A little more attention to room housekeeping would have been welcome, but I'm picky.
Location: Sorbonne, Musee de Cluny, Latin Quarter. Street entertainers near Notre Dame were wonderful. Good concerts in nearby park.
Almost all good. Staff were great. Great bistros nearby. Enjoyed the TV embedded in the bathroom mirror.

Best kept secretPosted Jul 19, 2015
Loved this visit. The hotel is beside the Sorbonne University building and in the corner of a large courtyard with fountains, restaurants, nightly musicians (who were excellent...and I know something about that), and centrally located between 2 important shopping districts. Turn left and head toward The 6th to Longchamps and Louis Vuitton, head right to the Alatin 5th and buy all of your favorite Paris trinkets. Metro stations, Notre Dame, Luxemburg gardens...and the food!
