“Will go back again!”
We loved this hotel. The only thing was that I thought the standard deluxe room I had originally was very small for the price I paid, so I negociate with the front desk and paid extra to upgrade to an executive suite, but it was totally worth it. We had 2 lovely balconies and got free water, juice and coffee everyday. The concierge was so helpful with everything we asked for. I think everyone finds Paris beautiful and enjoyable, but my stay at the Sofital de Fauberg made it even better.
“excellent location”
This hotel which is attached to the American embassy is within walking distance to the major attractions. The staff was exceedingly helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat.
“Highly Recommended”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel was in a great location on a quiet block and just around the corner from great restaurants, shops and the Louvre. The metro station is a two minute walk. The staff at the hotel was great and willing to help us with all of our needs. The rooms were spacious (considering other hotels I've stayed in in Europe) and very clean. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in Paris! Great location, beautiful hotel and great staff. It's worth the money...you won't be disappointed.
“Great Hotel! Would stay again!”
This is our first time at this hotel and it definitely will not be the last. The rooms are comfortable and well kept. The sheets and the bed are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a great safe area. The hotel is close to some high end stores and also close to the subway entrance so traveling around town is very easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We can't wait to come back!
“Great hotel in a great location”
If you're on a relatively short trip through Paris and you want to stay in a hotel that will be near by all of the city's main tourist sites, you cannot pick a better hotel than this. It's minutes away on foot from the Lourve, the Seine, Champs Elysee, etc. The hotel itself is beautiful, its staff professional and friendly. OK, so you pay for it (it's four stars soon to be five stars) after all, but worth it if you can afford it.
“highly recommended”
The hotel was in a perfect location, walking distance to Louvre, Champs Elysee, Orangerie, and metro. We arrived at 7 am, and although our room wasn't ready, our suitcases were stored, and when the room was ready, we were promptly brought to it. The Hermes products and bathrobes were nice additions. The room was small by American standards, but it was very luxurious. It was also in a very safe location- next to the American Embassy. The Buddha bar across the street was a great place to have a late night drink. Dreaming at the Cartier and Hermes stores down the block was fun as well. I'd absolutely stay at the Sofitel again.

Very nice hotel in an ideal location. Very secure as American Embassy is right down the street. Walk everywhere from Hotel. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend.
“Honeymooners”
We stayed here for our honeymoon. It is a great hotel. The room was a decent size and we had all the bathroom amenities we have in the US. They provided Hermes bath products, but there was no hair conditioner. This hotel is located in the middle of all the high end shopping you can think of!

We trusted expedia reviews( again) and were thrilled with the Sofitel. Lovely room- a bit small, but elegant, newly refurbished, clean with very comfy beds. Small walk-in closet. Lovely bath. Hotel staff exceptionally nice and helpful. Very quiet, safe street in gorgeous neighborhood, in the heart of Paris! Couldn't have picked a better location! Walk to everything-bring good walking shoes-(no athletic shoes or you're pegged as an American!) Metro nearby and very efficient - never had to wait for a train. We took the Eurostar (chunnel) to London and stayed at the Sofitel there. Fabulous trip!!
