“Great hotel for a CDG overnight, even to be considered for a short Paris stay”

Great location, Paris Nord 2 is a little farther that the other Nuovohotel in CDG, however it is much nicer and newer. I wuold not mind taking the 5 min shuttle to stay in such a new and nicely designed hotel.

“Dried blood on sheets”

pulled back the duvet to find sheets covered in dried blood. Staff basically could have cared less.30 min. wait foe new sheets to arrive and we had to change the sheets ourselves!!!

“Good impression”

Overall condition of this hotel was OK as room is spacious with modern furniture/appliance, small kitchen area (you can't cook though as there are only 1 microwave and 1 fridge too small maybe). Can accomodate 4 people easily (2 adults + 2 kids) with flat screen (few TV channels only french one), free internet and some free VOD. Room is quiet even though close to the airport. Staff was friendly. 2 negative points: they located us far from the main elevator therefore long way walking to the exit. This is probably where they put families with kids, away from business travelers not to disturb them. Secondly parking is not free and expensive (8 euros a day)! This was not mention in the hotel description. Finally you definately need a car. Hotel is convenient because not far from downtown Paris but in the middle of industrial area. There are shopping malls nearby but not in walking distance.

they have a mini fridge so take ur own snacks

they have a bus that takes you to the airport from there u can take the train all over paris the tickets are 8 euro for the train you will need 2 1 to go and 1 to come back.

“closer Novotel for just a little more”

there seem to be 3 Novotel hotels within 2 km of the airport (CDG). The closest is of course at the train terminal, but it is more expensive. The other Novotel suites is closer to the airport for only 10 euros more.

Area recommendations

if you are going to stay in Paris , look in the Quartier Latin.

“Free Shuttle Can't Get You There”

The free hotel shuttle bus is supposed to be easy and convenient. The signs say that the bus takes you to the Suite Novotel. The bus had the Suite Novotel marked on the front, but then took us to the wrong Suite Novotel. Turns out there are 2. Furthermore, only every other shuttle bus takes you to the correct hotel, but the signs don't tell you that. We found out after the bus driver refused to take us to our hotel that the Suite Novotel sign had to be PINK instead of WHITE to get us to our hotel. LOUSY SYSTEM. No help from the hotel staff or the Shuttle drivers.

“where is it!?!”

3 Novotels at CDG and hard to be sure how to get there. arrived in the middle of the night following French port strike in Calais and a very kind shuttle bus driver led us to the correct one of the 3(!) Novotels. Nice hotel, but slow shuttle service and nearly unintelligible directions to find it.

“Beauty is only skin deep”

Great concept - free internet, phone, extra large rooms, intriguing decor, but housekeeping is woeful and staff not very helpful. Because we booked through Expedia, staff implied that our only recourse for any adjustments or amenities was through Expedia.

Area recommendations

7th arrondissement. Good mix of local neighborhood amenities and tourist attractions.
