“Would stay here again...”

Despite our luggage not arriving until 2 days later, we enjoyed our hotel...there is a metro stop literally outside the front door and our own crepe maker! Starbucks, small grocery store, lots of restaurants to choose from very close. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom small but very clean...staff very helpful and spoke enough English to help us. Love Paris!!

“Very comfortable”

This hotel was very comfortable and close to many attractions. The staff spoke English and was very polite. They also gave great advice on good restaurants where locals go.

“Great Paris Location”

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. From the friendly, courteous bilingual staff to the room, everything was wonderful. On top of that, location is everything. The Metro was right by the hotel that allowed us to quickly and easily get to all the major sites of the city.

“Hidden gem”

After staying in my fair share of tiny, poorly equipped hotels in Europe, the Tryp is a breath of fresh air. Not a large US hotel by any means, but perfectly located on the Metro line, my king size bed was shockingly large for a European hotel. Clean, well appointed, and with a delightful crepe place on the street corner across the road - you'll be pleased you stayed here.

“A good choice”

Great location. The metro was at the front door and the hotel was walkable to the main museums--even a nice walk to Notre Dame area. Reception was friendly and helpful. Nice grocery store a little over 1 block to the right was convenient for breakfast and lunch goodies to save money. Free internet. Room was quite adequate in size for the two of us. Modern bath. Nearby restaurants. Safe neighborhood.

“Great lively street!”

In a great location, lively, lots of people watching and restaurants. Although not a quiet place to get sleep at night (there are tons of bars and restaurants and people in the streets at night that can keep you up if you're a light sleeper) the perks include lots of stuff going on around the hotel! You'll find the metro in front of the hotel and taxi's around! Lovely staff, small elevators that'll fit one person and one suitcase at a time!

“Great for a touring couple not requiring amenitie”

The primary reason to book this hotel is its excellent location (with a metro stop literally out the door) and its price (which is why we gave it a 4 for overall stay). If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. The rooms are small and very basic which is typical of Paris. They are pretty clean with somewhat dated furniture and minimal closet/drawer space. If you are looking to be out most of the day touring and just need a clean place to crash each night in a trendy and good neighborhood (note: there are a lot of happening cafes etc. so it can be a bit noisy at night if you leave the windows open), then this is your place. If you want to hang around the hotel with amenities etc., do not stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
