“will definitely go back”
great location and very full service
“Terrass Hotel a Honeymoon Haven”
Truly enjoyed our stay at the Terrass Hotel in Montmatre which is on the outskirts of Paris. Small room but quite romantic. Just right for honeymooners. Fantastic view! Staff pleasant. The open air terrance on 8th floor was wonderful. Food good; however the resturant was open for breakfast only. Enjoyed the area its resturants and shops. It was easy to get to the heart of Paris from the hotel by bus or subway. We would return to the Terrass and highly recommend it. It lives up to the 4 star status.
“not impressed”
The hotel that i expected was not the hotel that we stayed .
“One of the best choice in Montmatre”
Very.. very good hotel. The location is perfect if you like Montmatre. Terras with magnific view of the Eifel Tower... recommend.
“Food, Lovely Neighborhood and Wonderful Paris”
I really enjoyed this hotel and the delightful neighborhood. I would definitely return again. A comfortable hotel with a few maintenance problems, like not enough pillows, the staff was helpful and considerate. They got us taxis, helped us plan outings. A delightful bar, sitting area.
“Highly recommend”
We were in France for 10 days and stayed at several hotels. This hotel was very nice, the room was comfortable and pretty, the bathroom was modern and clean, the hotel staff was gracious and efficient. This hotel is away from the main attractions in Paris, but for us it allowed us to really experience a true neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the area in the morning.
“Hidden Gem”
This hotel was a positive surprise to us. My husband is from Paris so we are VERY familiar with many of the hotels since we travel there all the time. This hotel has the mosty fabulous views from some of the deluxe rooms, some junior suites and of course the big suite with a large private terace facing all of Paris and with Lounge chairs - WOW!!! Ask for a room with a balcony. Best pasta place in town is right around the corner called Rughetta's and all the local restau's and small digs are generally super good. We where impressed to discover that the restaurant in the Hotel was mostly ECO. Very very impressive initiative!
“Rude”
we felt unwelcome, to put it bluntly. Treated like we were stupid, not given directions when we even asked in a friendly way "Where is the nearest metro stop?" Made to feel like we couldn't even sit in the restaurant. (Never even asked if we wanted to order something and totally ignored us.) We have traveled extensively and always find a hotel that does their job properly, especially in a foreign country, makes you feel welcome, gives you tips, can offer to book things for you. Not here. There was no "service" at all. Every question I had (which was not many, as I became afraid to ask) was greeted with a blank stare. Not even the simplest amenities like an ice machine.
“Gem in Montmartre”
Accommodating staff and well equipped rooms. Decent size for Parisian standards. Good location for both scouring the neighborhood and access to city center. The rooftop terrass is a must see, especially at night while the Eiffel Tower is glittering. Many good restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
“Terrass Hotel Paris a treasure!”
First of all, the location, Montmartre, is special in that it is in the heart of a French village; you get to immerse yourelf in the French culture and people. Tastefully decorated spacious room with all sorts of amenities (i.e.coffee pot, desk, iron/ironing board). Bathroom was spacious with a large tub and a separate water closet/toilet room. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We spoke French (not always fluent!). Found if you made the effort, staff would jump in with English if needed. Do visit or dine on the 7th floor restaurant. The view of the city, including the Eiffel Tower, is spectacular. Would love to go back to Paris - so much to see and would definitely make reservations at the Terrass Hotel again.
