Comfortable hotel in great location.Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The reception area is bright and welcoming, both in decor and the staff. The rooms, lifts and terrace are all very clean. The location is fantastic.
Cons: The decor/furnishings could be lighter as our room was quite dark. Plumper pillows. More milk as we only had enough for one drink between us each day.
Location: Montmartre is a great location. Minutes from the Sacre Coeur, the Moulin Rouge and the Metro. Plenty of restaurants and shops. It oozes atmosphere.
We have been to Paris many times. We've stayed in other areas but return to Montmartre out of choice. There is so much life and yet it is never rowdy. There is so much to see and do here as the Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre and Moulin Rouge are all close by. The Abbesses metro line makes it easy to visit the other wonderful sites of Paris. This was our first stay in The Terrass Hotel and we will happily return to it as it was comfortable, clean, friendly and in a great location.

Great Location, lovely staff!Posted Jul 15, 2014
Cons: Open the 7th floor terrace despite the weather conditions ( except lighting striking ) and let the guests decide if they want to be wet or cold?
Location: Everything in Montmartre is close by!
We arrived at the Terrass at 6:00 AM in the morning. They wowed us when they said we could enter our room after coming off an 11.50 hour flight with no sleep! Already we were impressed...what hotel does that? The staff was friendly and helpful! The lobby is a nice size and elegant. We approached the elevator which is painted with lovely artwork. Every floor is decorated with artwork and looks quite cute like that! The room was small, but it is Paris and to be expected. It was cute and unique in the design, with cheerful colors and a wonderful, modern and nice sized bathroom. The location was just about perfect! The Sacre-Coeur was a 10 minute walk or so and as we approached it there were numerous shops, bakeries, cafes and such. Another 2 blocks the other way was the Moulin Rouge, also surrounded by cafes, shops etc. Sadly it was cloudy and raining and the terrace on the 7th floor was not open. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel. But the hotel can not be faulted by the weather! And we did see the view just beyond the Basilica. Over all I would recommend a stay that you will enjoy!

More thought needed for guestsPosted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Location nice rooms.
Cons: As above
Location: As above near to Sacre Couer and Montmartre
Rooms were quite nice but in the evening downstairs bar was closed only bar open was 7th floor terrace bar and there was a half hour waiting list to get in. Downstairs bar should be open for an evening drink for guests.

Lovely staff, great locationPosted Jun 30, 2014
The hotel was lovely, ideal location in Monmatre within wlaking distance of the Sacre Couer. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room was slightly dated and unfortunately we didn't have a great view - just some other buildings but it didn't subtract from our stay. Rooms were cleaned wonderfully. The bathroom was the lowest point as it was quite dated and the shower wasn't amazing but definitely adequate. A trip to the roof terrace for a glass of wine is a must just for that view!

ParisPosted Jun 29, 2014
We stayed at the terrass to celebrate my 30th birthday. Our room had a view of the eiffle tower. Staff were really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips. Lots to do and see right around the hotel 10mins walk to mourlin rouge. Close to metro which takes you anywhere in 10-15mins. Hotel was really comfortable and clean. Breaky was yummy too. Would stay again.

Nice hotel w a great viewPosted Jun 21, 2014
Nice hotel room with a great view of the Eiffel Tower with small balcony. Very comfortable bed. We were able to sit in the room watch World Cup soccer and the Eiffel Tower from the sofa in the room while drinking wine. Its a bit pricey but totally worth it for special occasion in Paris. Only bad thing is the cementery accrosd the street .

Friendly and small haven in the heart of MontmatrePosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Friendly, personable, rooftop terrace.
Cons: Slightly wider single beds. Larger shower screen.
Location: Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge walkable. Lots of cafe choices, not too expensive plus bakeries and other shops. Several metro stations easily accessible
Glad my friend and I picked this place for my birthday weekend treat. The staff are friendly and welcoming as soon as you arrive. On entering our room we were pleased to find a view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony, a lovely bonus! And a further surprise was complimentary champagne, a very personal touch! Single beds were quite narrow and the shower did spray out but otherwise a comfortable room. A real plus is the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower as well as a peek of the Sacre Coeur. This is easily walkable to, although you'll get sidetracked by all the cafés and boutique shops, the location is possibly the best I've stayed at in Paris, a tourist hotspot but didn't feel overly so with lots of locals around for people watching, and very close to the metro. Fully recommend staying here and I'm definitely coming back. Thank you to the hotel for the lovely memories for my celebration!

Excellent location.Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent.
Cons: Room was dark and dingy in terms of decor and not commensurate with the price paid
Location: Location excellent, near to really good cafes.
Very good staff and excellent location in Monmartre. However, the room was disappointing and decor tired and dark.

Nice and friendlyPosted Jun 2, 2014
We stayed here on night gor the view of yhe Eiffel tower. Staff was polite and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. I was a little disssppointed by the view, we were further away than I thought. Nice view but not quite worth the $400 a night price tag. I will stay more centrally located next time.

Good locationPosted May 26, 2014
Cons: A brighter reception/bar area, plus re furbish all bedrooms
Location: Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Room was disappointing - small and poorly furnished and only had a small shower. Hotel was full of business travellers and this meant that reception were unable to reallocate us.
