Room for 2Posted Nov 9, 2013
First impressions: warm friendly professional reception, immaculate room with stunning bathroom upon further inspection we found a broken bath plug and a very hard bed the plug however was fixed immediately and we had a choice of pillows much to my sons delight the view really is fantastic so for those who enjoy all things pretty, the view of Eiffel sparkling of an evening is quite the experience the room service is excellent as is the willing to cater to your every need the only complaint would be the response to being told the shower fixture fell off the wall....an apology would have been an adequate resolve but you can't have it all

And good hotel in a great location.Posted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The bathrooms were very clean,TV in the room worked fine, the wifi was easy to access, bed I found comfortable and it was nice to be able to open window
Cons: Maybe the complimentary tea and biscuits could be to a higher standard, Maybe a few local magazines or leaflets with information could available.
Location: Very good location everything you need are close by in walking distance hard to fought the location.
Knowledgable reception staff make you at ease on arrival, very helpful and proffesional. This was my longest stay at The Terrass and I felt comfortable and relaxed in a clean environment You feel that this hotel is very professionally maintained and kept at a very high standard, Staff who maintain the rooms are unobtrusive but friendly also and very thorough , Overall my five night stay was most enjoyable and a good base to visit the sights of Paris .

Friendly Hotel in a Good positionPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: The View from the roof terrace
Cons: Keep the roof terrace restaurant open. Reduce price of breakfasts and at the Bar
The roof restaurant was closed for the winter which was dissapointing as it has a great view and we were hoping to eat there on the first night and one of the reasons we booked the Hotel. Bar and breakfast prices were too high so we ate and drank elsewhere. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were good. The Hotel is positioned close to the local nightlife, cafe bars etc and only a short walk to the Moulon Rouge or Sacre Cour but in a reasonably quiet street so we would probably stay there again.

Really enjoyable stayPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Organic products, comfort of beds, the staff.
Cons: Reception appearance is a little dated. Room service could be faster (also quality of wine could be higher).
Location: Fabulous location, lots of cafes and things to see.
The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the sheets of a very good quality cotton, the shower powerful and super relaxing and the products in the bathroom organic. Room service takes 1 hour, this should be advised on the menu but once it gets to the room, the quality of the food is good. Breakfast good, a little expensive for what it is, could do with more healthy/organic options. The staff is friendly, helpful and generally really lovely. The business room with internet was really useful. The front of the hotel is a little dated, not as beautiful as the rooms but all in all a great stay. I will definitely book again.

Great Location. Fab views from 7th floor terrace.Posted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff. Wonderful top floor Terrace which would be lovely for drinks on a Summer's evening.
Cons: Attention to detail and air con.
Location: Great location. Montmartre is a fab place to stay. Lots of patron run restaurants and wine bars plus real Parisien life during the day.
Although the hotel is in a great position and the staff are friendly and helpful I found our room very disappointing. Maybe they gave us that room as they knew we had a deal from expedia but there was no air con and it overlooked the most horrible 'courtyard' [in your dreams!]. You had to crawl under a table to get to one of the two power points and the shower gel in the shower was empty. The loo also smelled a bit. I may not have noticed all of this if I had been staying with another adult and not spent any time in my room but I was with my 10 year old son. As I had taken my son to Paris or a treat I had booked this hotel above another I have used in the area before as I thought it would be better. Alas no. Even my son was disappointed.

Terrass hotel ReviewPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: This was an excellent, comfortable hotel in the are, 5 minutes walk from the metro. The staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke enough English.
Cons: I don't think I could ask for better apart from a view over the city. We has a nice little garden outside of our room.
Location: This are is lively till quite late. Even shopping was possible till 7pm in some boutiques. There were plent of bRsandrestaurants
Paris is an amazing city. Full of charm and old beauty. I love it. I did not want my the theft of my mobile phone to ruin the trip but boy that was a quick worker. I am sure I was only aware of my bag being open for a minute or two on the underground, so be careful. Wong place at the wrong time, I think! There is so much in the Montmartre region, we hardly left the area. The large department stores are closed on a Sunday, but there were several boutiques open locally. And plenty of places to have breakfast, lunch and supper.

Great Location - excellent Boutique HotelPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Everything. I loved the fact that this hotel is located in a regular neighborhood not a tourist mecca! You get to see how ordinary people live.
Location: Excellent restaurants. Walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Wonderful shops. Great fruit places. Got fresh fruit everyday.
Celebrated my birthday at this wonderful hotel. I put a note in my reservation telling them it was my birthday and Stephanie Social Manager had a great bottle of wine and two glasses waiting for me on arrival. The hotel is outside of Paris central tourist trap it is located a few streets north of Moulin Rouge. Excellent safe area with tons of restaurants. Great bakeries and wonderful pastrie shops. Make a right out of the hotel there is an excellent pizza place at the end of the street. Make a left and there's tons of stuff. Don't do breakfast at the hotel at $12 euros p/p that's a lot of money. You can have a great breakfast at the top of the hill on the right for $3 euros. There's an excellent place on the right 3 streets from the hotel. Train is located close to hotel 2 streets north of hotel then right you can get the train or just walk a few blocks, take a leisurly stroll to second stop. Train takes 15 min to Eifel Tower or other sites. I'm very glad I stayed here. Room was good size and very well styled. Bathroom was excellent. Internet connection excellent and staff was great. I will definitely stay there again. Make a taxi reservation on the ride back to Paris Nord if you came by train. Taxi over charged us on the way back to Eurostar station. $9.00 to hotel and $21back to train. Hotel was great at calling for taxi it's not their fault he charged us a trip fee to the hotel. There is a cab service others mentioned here. You won't be disappointed staying here.
