Location, location, location + magnifique

Pros: location, room service, staff, beauty of room, heavenly bed
Location: within walking distance to most museums.
We had a fabulous trip to Paris--largely in part to the Westin Vendome. My must haves for international travel: rooms service, great bath, great location. The Westin had all three plus the fabulous Heavenly bed/pillows. The location is perfect--we could walk most places, galleries, Louvre, etc. We had a lovely room, nice sized, overlooking Tuileries garden and the Eiffel Tower, with marble fireplace, beautiful interior, flat screen + luxurious marble bath We consider ourselves discriminating travelers and found the Westin Vendome to be five star. The room service was excellent--good food and really quick. We used the concierge service quite a bit and they were most helpful. And, when you ordered breakfast, or a wake-up call, and asked for 7:15 am, the service was provided at exactly 7:15 am....and we were there for 11 days. All of the staff from front desk to housekeepers to a/c engineer were prompt, friendly and dedicated. The thing I loved the most was the bath/shower....it had a temperature control gauge that you could set for the perfect bath. We went over to the George V for cocktails--it was prettier than the Westin, but not a $1000 a night prettier! We thought our room rate quite reasonable for this location. We plan a return trip and will stay again and this most accommodating hotel

Nice views with balcony

Nice hotel but rooms are the size of a shoe box. 1000 euros for a room that only has enough space for a bed! The views were fantastic though we were looking straight at the Eiffel Tower.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location.

Pros: Everything
Cons: The price of the food in the hotel
Location: Great location. We walked to the museum, cafes and churches.
We had a great time. The only bad moment we had was that when we arrived to the hotel after such a long flight our room was not ready. We had to wait for an hour and a half. But they made up for it by giving us a whole week of free internet. Everything was great.

Great hotel, great location. We walked everywhere.

Pros: See above.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit small.
Location: The hotel is by the Tuileries gardens and only a short walk from the Louvre, the Galeries Lafayette and we could also easily walk to the Eiffel Tower.
The room was nice, the beds we're comfy and the staff were nice and helpful. There was also a little gym which I used. Great location too. Central and within walking distance of many sights.

Nice Hotel for all activities in Paris

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Westin Hotel Paris is in such a nice location for everything in Paris. I was on a business trip to conference, and the hotel was chosen by the organizers. It turned out the choice is good. It is next to the Jardin de Tuileries so you can take a walk or jogging along the river. Then Louvre is not far, so as Opera and Lafayette. Cross the river you will be at the Orsay , you can go in or you can take RER C there for Versailles. Then Eiffel can be seen from the Jardin and you can actually walk to Arc de Triomphe. In case you come from CDG, you can take Roissybus and arrive the hotel by walking about 1km.

Nice hotel close to many attractions and calm

I was there for a business meeting. The staff was friendly but I was disappointed because the bar didn't have the sports channel for the Europeans champions league football semi finals

The perfect luxury hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: They really have their act together! They actually anticipate your needs.
Location: Within waking distance of the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Tuileries Gardens, lower Champs Élysées and many good restaurants.
The Westin has a superb staff and fine location. The concierge desk handled every request promptly with just the right degree of friendliness. Our standard room was fine - adequate space, nicely appointed. The room rate in a four-night package was a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Nice Hotel Next to the Tuileries Garden

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Room with an Eiffel Tower View.
Cons: Size of the room was small.
Location: Close proximity to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Tuileries, Champs Elysees.
Hotel was set in a great location and their buffet breakfast was excellent. Very friendly hotel staff eager to help you get around easily. Close to subway, Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre and manly restaurants and cafes. A short walk to Champ Elysees crossing many high end boutiques for fashion and swiss watches.

Great location

Pros: The location and staff.
Cons: the Wi-Fi should be replaced.
Location: If you get a chance, check out the tapas restaurant behind the hotel.
We enjoyed our four day stay at the hotel. The Good: The location is fabulous within walking distance of the Louvre, Musee d'Orsey and other notable sites. Access to the RER and Metro was easy. We stayed during the first days of Spring and the gardens across the street seemed to change with every passing hour. The food and service in the hotel restaurant was very good and the consierge staff was very helpful and attentive. The Not-So-Good: The room was not as nice as the photograph on the website. On arriving we were told that the hotel was overbooked and the room we booked through Expedia was not available. We were given a "comparable" room, which was clean and generally comfortable. The window opened into an interior courtyard, which gave no view other than of similar windows with no views. The room was too warm and changes to the thermostat had no effect. The Wi-Fi speed was terrible and expensive. Despite the less positive items, we will likely stay at the hotel again as the location and staff made up for any shortcomings.
