The price might be a little steep but this is Paris. Paid about 40% less and almost did not make it out. The front desk was extremely fluent and friendly. They offered a lot of amenities. The room size was a bit small but this must be because of Paris. Would definitely recommend this place. This is a chain hotel and knows how to satisfy their guests.
Would recommend this to others.

Room was small, but clean and modern. Hot showers, free WI fi. Appreciated being able to print our boarding passes from lobby computer. Great value and location. loved the montparnasse area. Lots of restaurant choices. Great gelato on the corner and sushi right next door. Used the scenic # 6 metro often and loved that the Edgar Quinet station was a block away. Sunday artist market and Thursday local market on Edgar Quinet street were a lot of fun. Easy walk from the Les cars CDG #4 airport coach drop off point. Loved the La Parisienne patisserie on Odessa a block away. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for our family stay in Paris. Very comfortable and quiet as set back in courtyard location but very close to Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, loads of restaurants and Metro just up the street so easy to access all the sites. Staff very helpful and friendly and would certainly stay again.

I started off my 3.5 week stay in Europe at Timhotel Jardin Des Plantes. I really recommend this location as it's not super touristy, yet still conveniently located...best of all for city center it is quite affordable! The hotel staff were extremely kind & knowledgeable, the rooms were clean & quiet, and you could pop right out the door and be at the Seine river (close to Notre Dame) in just a 10 minute walk. I loved being close to the Gardens (Jardin Des Plantes) and there were cute cafes nearby to sit and people watch over a coffee or a beer. Closest metro stop is Place Monge and from there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city. Definitely would come here again. I made the mistake of changing hotels halfway through my stay - don't bother just use this location as a jumping off point (even if you want to visit places like Montmarte).

We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights while passing through Paris. It was a great location, facing a courtyard with little traffic noise. Very close to a subway line which gave great access. Lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area as well. Staff was very kind and helpful in accommodating our early arrival as well as providing directions. Price was also great. Would definitely recommend it.

The Timhotel Le Louvre is located approximately two blocks from the Louvre and four blocks from the Seine. It is perhaps a twenty minute walk to the Cathedral of Notre Dame. There are two very nice bistros on the same block as the hotel which serve a wonderful dinner and are open until midnight or so. This convenience alone makes the hotel worth visiting. I also found the hotel staff to be helpful, the lobby and other public areas to be clean and (to my eye at least) perhaps newly renovated. My room was a bit cramped, but I suspect that this would have been the case at any similarly priced hotel in the area. I would definitely stay here on a return visit to Paris.

As the hotel is only a 2 star I wasn't expecting too much from the hotel, but I was impressed. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. We were on the third floor, and were impressed to have a balcony room, although it wasn't much, it was more than we expected. The breakfast was very nice for a continental and offered a wide selection of foods.
It was a very hot weekend when I visited - too hot to sleep under the covers. Luckily we had a fan in the room, so we managed to keep the room at a decent temperature.
We asked for an iron at night, but there was none left. We asked again in the morning and there was one available, so that wasn't too much of an inconvenience.
We also asked the receptionist where we could find 'frogs legs' and she rang around local restaurants until she found one - all of which was done in French, so her assistance was a great help!
The hotel itself is in a great location as it is across the road from the Saint Lazare station, and at max a 10 minute walk to the river Seine, where the majority of the city's main attractions can be found. There is also a Starbucks across the street!
If and when I return to Paris I would definately look for a hotel within the same area, and if possible I would stay at this hotel again.

This was a good hotel with a very good location. It was accessible to most of downtown Paris, just a few blocks from the Louvre and many other sights. The service was good and the facility was well maintained for an older bulding. It was convenient to a number of good restaurants.
