Our Stay At Timhotel, Paris.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: I liked the price of the hotel it was reasonably priced, but the hotel was better than expected.
Cons: The bar tender needs to observe queues and not ignore customers just because he has something against their nationality. Maybe sell lighters/matches.
The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff where on the whole friendly and helpful. Food and drink was a bit on the expensive side even from the vending machines. If you use the machines make sure you have enough change as you won't always be able to change notes at the reception. If you are a smoker ensure you have back up lighters or matches as the hotel has none on sale. There isn't really a lot for kids to do at the hotel, but if you are like us you'll be out all day and back late so they can just go straight to bed. The bar shuts too early for my liking, at 10.30pm I am just getting started with drinking and would have liked to see it open an hour longer especially at the weekends. As a vegetarian I found the choice of food very poor but in truth this is pretty common in most places in Paris, either learn to love salad and french fries or be prepared to search lots of places to find a restaurant that serves 1 vegetarian dish. The rooms have some sort of AC in them. The problem is in an effort to save electricity the hotel has the rooms electric supply start when you place the electronic room card in the right slot, this means that when you come back from a long day baking in the sun the room is warm as the AC hasn't been on all day because it has had no electricity supply to it. We had safes in our rooms, which I thought was great as meant we could leave our passports and excess cash safely behind.

A good hotel to stay in Paris

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The hotel was quite clean and neat
Pros: very close to the Metro and restaurants. Clean and generally quiet (some city constructions were right in front but since our room was on the other side of the hotel, we didn't have any problems). The hotel restaurant's buffet was a nice adding (plenty of good food at a very reasonable price). Not far also from city center or about half of hour walking from Champs Elizee Avenue.

Simple, clean, very good hotel close to tram stop

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Stayed for 1 night. Very friendly staff, free wi-fi and close to tram stop. Room was compact but very clean and bathroom was very clean also. There is a lot of choice for breakfast and the sitting area is great. I would recommend this hotel for short stays-not spectacular but gives you everything you want from a hotel

Convenient city location

Good value twin room . Impressed by the cleanliness and room service. Breakfast option appeared expensive...so did not eat in the hotel . Metro access across the road ...good but often a crowded experience... As with any city ..be aware of personal safeguards ..some very pushy 'street people' about.

A good value hotel in Paris.

The hotel is not near or walking distance to the common attractions for Paris but because the city subways are so efficient and quick here, you really don't need to stay in a hotel close to attactions and pay significantly more per night. The overall stay here was fine and comfortable. The staff all spoke english and were extremely friendly and helpful with our needs.

Right by metro so easy to get around.

Staff very helpful, hotel clean, bed very comfortable, ideal for getting around London as metro right across road from hotel- probably not in the nicest area of Paris though.!

Great value for location and price

Very clean large bathrooms, bed was comfortable. Located a block from the metro which was very convenient so you could get to most places in paris in 30 minutes or so. Would definitely stay again!
