“Just what we wanted”

Good basic hotel. Great location with nice walk to the river through the park. Loads of easy food up at Rue Mouffetard, but cafes and boulangerie for breakfast across the road too. Check in 2pm out 12 noon but you can leave your bags in locked room. Much better area than those with big boulevards and not seedy or anything.

Our room was on the top floor of the hotel and was surprisingly spacious. The view was beautiful from our window, looking out onto the Gardens. We spent a fair amount of time on the roof terrace, which was a real bonus. The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were all very friendly. Our room was always gleaming when we returned from our days out. The only downside was the fire alarm going off one morning, and having to walk down 5 flights of narrow stairs, but apart from this it was a great place to stay.

“Loved it”

Hotel ideally situated for visiting the main attractions of Paris.10-15 minute walk from Notre Dame. There is a Metro station at the end of the street. Nice restaurants just round the corner, with menues at 16 euros for a good 3 course meal.Les Jardin des plantes is literally across the road. The rooms are small but easily adequate.

This hotel is a good budget option. The location is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

“Ideal location for Batobus (River Bus).”

This Hotel is located within a ten minute walk from the "Batobus"Jardin de Plantes stop, and within a two minute walk from Jussieu Metro Station. In other words, it's easy to access the whole of Paris from here.We preferred to use the Batobus as the weather was beautiful and we could view Paris from the Seine. The Hotel itself was small, comfortable, and spotlessly clean,with friendly and cheerful responses from the Staff. Breakfast was an optional extra,but well worth it-the croissants were literally melting in my mouth'

“Excellent bargain”

We stayed here for 3 nights, finding it clean and welcoming, 24 hour reception desk, staff spoke some English, (and understood bad French!), located near the metro, a student area- so very safe and some, albeit not many cheap places to eat in comparison with more touristy areas.. takes 5 minutes to get to the Seine and Notre Damne, as well as the excellent Pont Neuf Boat trip... The bed was comfortable, nice balcony - (tho I get the impression some rooms didnt have one, and so maybe werent as nice- we requested smoking so they gave us that one for that reason!) There is also a roof top terrace which is small but nice, tho I think you can get breakfast cheaper outside the Hotel....

this hotel is not far from gare d'austerlitz and metro juisseau is nearby, calm area near natural history musuem and arab institute. very clean room, comfy bed.

“Good Value”

Location is great. Easy to get around, metro nearby. A short walk to the Seine. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. There's a laundromat at 63 Rue Monge. Our room was at the back on the 5th floor and opened onto the roof terrace. It was quiet and nice to have the terrace space. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was very clean. Only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in our room, which was the reason we chose this hotel in the first place.
