My stay at TimHotel was good. The location was right next to the Blanche metro which allowed me to easily transfer my luggage to the hotel they also offer SuperShuttle airport transfers at a cheap price. The room was decent, it was large size for my American taste. The only issue is that the air conditioning was not working and they didn't get to fix it until the day I was leaving so for the 3 days I was in Paris, I was using fans provided to me by the hotel. Another minor issue is that the hotel is located right near the Moulin Rouge, which is famously known as the red light district (use your imagination) so once it starts getting dark that area starts to be a little bit sketchy and you need to be extra cautious.

Great hotel, would definitely stay again.

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Quiet, but close proximity to everything.
Location: Great to come back to and relax in this excellent little hotel after a long day of site seeing. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to everything.
Perfect for our family stay in Paris. Very comfortable and quiet as set back in courtyard location but very close to Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, loads of restaurants and Metro just up the street so easy to access all the sites. Staff very helpful and friendly and would certainly stay again.

Very clean and helpful staff, room allocation was a disabled room, which for a disabled person is perfect but for a couple was very small and unromantic ... never dined at hotel so cant comment on food. overall it was ok and would stay again but in one of the main hotel rooms.

Worst Staff ever in Paris

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: STAFF
On March 26th of 2014 I made a payment of $704.86 trough EXPEDIA.COM for a reservation in a hotel named TIMHOTEL OPERA BLANCHE FONTAINE, PARIS, in which I was going to stay from April 8th, 2014 to April 13th, 2014. Tuesday April 8th, 2014 at around 5:00 p.m., I arrived at the hotel along with my family to check-in. At the front desk was GEMMA who from the beginning was very unprofessional and rude; when we told her under which name we made the reservation she immediately said that we couldn’t stay there because we had a 1 year old infant who could not stay with us in a double room, and we needed a triple, to which I replied that the baby was too young to sleep by herself in a full bed and that when we made the reservation we had the option to request a crib. Despite my comments she kept arguing that she couldn’t help us. We were very tired after a long trip, so I requested a triple room offering to pay any difference, even when her reasons were not reasonable because infants under the age of 2 usually don’t have to pay and count as an adult. To this request she replied that they didn’t have any triple rooms available; the other two couples that were with us received different excuses as for why they couldn’t stay at this hotel. GEMMA didn’t offer any options for our stay, even when they are a hotel chain and there is another hotel within blocks from this location.

Rude Parisians

Posted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel didn't have a bell man and the entry to the hotel is about a half a city block from where the texi drops you. Three flights of stairs at which point a staff member broke the wheels off a 50 lbs suitcase and said sorry. Then the wifi was down the whole time and you had to stand in line to complain. Then once we were ready to take a mid day nap a " third party maintenance crew" was grinding the side of our bedroom. then the electricity was shut off for 20 minutes. And the staff was rude and miscalculated our bill at check out.Other than these small items the hotel was in a great location but i will never go back.

Well furnished room

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Very well furnished and spacious room. Comfy bed and pillows. Just a stone throw from Blanche metro station. The only negative is that it is near to night clubs and pubs, so may not be safe to be back to hotel too late.

Location Location Location!!

First off the location is Great! Right off Blanche Metro Station. It sits near a Starbucks, a great little restaurant Le Depanneur is across the street and there is a market up the street. The area of Montmatre is across Blvd De Clichy. Moulin de la Galette is up Rue Lepic. Les Duex Moulins where Amelie was filmed is here. There are many cute shops and great restaurants and nice nite walks. The staff at the Hotel was so friendly and a special shout out to Gemma who helped me with reservations for a few day trips. The rooms were large, very clean and new as of our visit. The rooms are not 100% sound proof but the noise wasn't too bad. Its your hotel guests that are loud there was NO noise from the street. The wifi is a bit dodgy in the rooms but it did the job, so it was fine. This hotel is surrounded by buildings as it sits back away from the street. I know this Hotel is in the "Hollywood" area of Paris. Blvd De Clichy around the corner is not for the faint at heart or children BUT if you stick to the Blanche Train Station and Rue Lepic you can by pass all the "naughty shops". There are many cool Vegas type shows in walking distance. Moulin Rouge and Eve have been rated some of the best but due to prices we declined to do any of these places. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Truly a little gem in the area. This is one of the best hotel stays truly. Thank you thank you thanks you to all the staff!!!
