“Can't wait to go back”
Great location close to everything!!
“nice little hotel”
Nice little hotel front desk mostly helpful and friendly . Internet was terrible and only down in the lobby . Room was nice and basic but clean and the location was close to everything . Great area and the morning street vendors were great ! You can walk to the Arc de Triumph and 5 minute walk to Metro 2 (ternes) station . I would recommend it !
“Nice for the price”
The hotel staff was very friendly and they all spoke English. The rooms were big enough and clean. I was happily surprised to see that they had a normal shower as there was a reviewer online that said they were disgusted by the shower that they had. We had a room on the basement floor which was fine because it was very quiet. There is a metro stop literally one block from the hotel (Ternes). OH, but I must warn you that initially finding the hotel was hard. If you decide to book here... if you get off at the Ternes metro stop (off of the 2) then you end up in a little square in the middle of everything (or if you make a right at the exit underneath you can take it to the right side where you need to be on without crossing the street). Anyway, choose the street with the HSBC on the corner... go down that street and make your first right (Dada cafe is there). Then make your first left (down the street where all of the farmer's market items are being sold if you're there early enough). Go down and then you'll see it on the right (another street). Hopefully this helps everyone. The only real downside to the hotel was that in order to use their wifi you have to stay in the lobby (but the rooms are very close by so it's not a huge deal). Their wifi is pretty crappy but it works and gets the job done so I'm not gonna complain too much! Also -- get your shopping done early. Most food/shops close around 7-8 pm. There is a pizza hut that is open until 11 though. Staff gave us #
“Paris is Great”
Aside from beds being very uncomfortable, rooms were small but clean. Would not recommend their breakfast fare. Try one of the cafe's on a nearby street. Surrounding neighborhood was very nice.

“Not Impressed”
Not impressed, although a couple of the concierge were actually friendly and helpful. The decor was somewhat charming, but not new. Bed was hard and lumpy, too low to the floor. Heavy blankets and bedspreads for the time of year. You won't get fresh towels and linens each day; excuse about ecological concerns. Room was suited for one person, not two. No air conditioning. Bathroom sink smelled bad. Young people party loud in neighboring apartments, garbage truck loud and early in the a.m., food market trucks around corner loud in early a.m., people yelling. We averaged about four hours sleep each night. At checkout we were charged high taxes per person per each night's stay! Breakfast was expensive, food was not that good, scrambled eggs were awful. Not worth the price we paid. This is not a four-star hotel, a three-star hotel is more like it - and only if they replace the beds!
“Nice hotel”
The people at the front desk were always very polite. The room was small but clean. I already knew the air conditioner wasn't working from reading the latest reviews here, but we were given two fans right away and they kept the room cool. It is a quiet neighborhood and we did have a hard time finding the hotel the first day (we had taken the metro from the airport) and the hotel is not on a main street. Definitely get your breakfast from the market which is one street down. The hotel is nice and close to the metro so it is easy to get anywhere in Paris. The blow dryer was very strange and got very hot so I didn't use it but that is the only thing that wasn't great. We had asked to use an iron but it was never available -- I guess they only have one. But overall, we were very satisfied and would go back to this hotel.
“Cute Hotel with lovely neighborhood market”
The hotel was somewhat difficult to find once getting off the metro. My traveling party really didn't speak or read French, so that could have been why it was challenging. The hotel is located in a mini-cul-de-sac part of the street (so off the main roads). It was tucked into the middle of a small neighborhood outdoor market, which was wonderful to see (and smell!) each morning. The local shops were amazing, and the pastries stores so yummy! While finding the hotel was an adventure, once we figured out how to navigate the streets, finding all the attractions was simple. Most attractions are very close; though I would recommend using the metro as that is a great way to get from one area to the other. The hotel itself reminded me of a bed and breakfast. From an American standpoint, the room was smaller and with fewer "perks" than in a standard American room. BUT THIS IS IN FRANCE! So why expect American accommedations! The room reminded me of my bedroom back in the midwest. The windows are very large allowing for a nice breeze to come into the room. The staff was wonderful. There was one staff person who was very "business like", but overall, they were extremely helpful. Often times, they would help us make reservations since none of us spoke French. Personally, this is the only hotel I would choose to stay in if I were to go back.
“I'll keep it on my list!”
I would highly recommend the hotel. Atmosphere, neighborhood, and staff made it very enjoyable.
