“First visit to Paris”

Location is terrific, wonderful restaurants on the block and only a couple of blocks to the metro. Good safe neighborhood. Downside was extremely small room and the carpets in the hallways were stained and worn. The staff was terrific and the location made up for the cramped room.

Area recommendations

The Batobus was a great way to get around and see all the 'touristy' sights in Paris.

“Completely satisfied”

All the information in expedia regarding this hotel was right. The localization was perfect, close of the CHAMPS ELYSSEES, ARC DE TRIOMPHE, LA DEFENSE, station of the metro PORTE MAILLOT, BUS STOP of Air France. Easy to arrive (metro n°1 + 4) to Notre Dame Cité where you can buy good souvenirs at good price.

Area recommendations

I recommend Av. Des Ternes, good restaurants and easy access to diferent places.

Other

You can enjoy your travel alone if you look for the information of the metro with time.

“Made us miss our flight back to NYC”

We went to paris for our honeymoon and we had a 7:30 am flight back to nyc so we planned to leave the hotel at 5:30. We go to the front desk and now one is theret to check us out plus the front door is locked and we cannot leave the hotel. After a half hour of waiting, calling and knocking on doors the someone comes out to check us out. We did not have time question his whereabouts because we did not want to miss our flight. We get to the airport at 7:20am and the gate closed at 7:15am. We ended up paying $900 to get a another flight, since we had a connecting flight to ny is cost us so much more. So bottom line do not stay at this hotel, you might save a hunderd or so bucks now but you might end up spending more later. We have tried to contact them and get them to cover some of the cost but we have not received any response.

“very good for the price”

very near the Eiffel tower and Arc de Triumphe. take the Airfrance #2 bus from CDG to Porte de Maillot,walk 50mts and you are at the hotel. Very nice restaurantes all around the hotel.

“Good Hotel”

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is just down the street from the Neuilly-Port Maillot metro stop (about a 3-5 min walk), so it was convenient. There are also a lot of restaurants close by. The only complaint would be that the free Wi-Fi didn't pick up in our room, and we were only on the 2nd floor. We had to go to the lobby to have a strong enough signal.

Getting around

I definitely recommend getting the Paris Visite card. The metro is the most convenient way to travel that we found, and the card allows you to use any form of public transport for a certain number of days. It even covers the metro ride to Versailles.

Must see

If you're into museums, there's a museum pass (which we bought from Expedia), that gets you into all of the major museums, and allows you to skip most of the lines (the security checks mean you'll still have to wait in a line). We bought the 2 day pass and went to the Louvre, Musee d' Orsay, Arc de Triomphe, and Versailles. It covered admission to a lot more sites and museums, but we didn't have time to visit more than those.

“reat hotel in a business area”

Great hotel for the Plais des Congress visitors (3 min. walk). Also close to the Etoile (Arc de Triumph) - 15 minutes walk, and from there you continue to Champs Elisee etc. Hotel staff is really helpful. For 15 Euro you get a descent breakfast. Also free WiFI inrooms and a free computerto use in the lobby makes this an ideal hotel for business travelers. I will definitely be back for my next conference.

The Air France bus from the airpoert stops right tat the Plais de COngress.

“Very nice place to stay.”

The hotel/room was clean, well kept up, the staff very helpful. The bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The room is not overly large, but large enough and larger than expected. The location is a bit further off than I would like, but coming back to a nice place at night made up for that. Metro was around the corner in the Palais Congress, so transportation was good. A bit of a walk otherwise, but that's Paris. A very nice street market up the road a bit, as well as the regular stores. Plenty of restaurants. And never had a concern for personal safety. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Don't know Paris well enough for that. But this location was very nice.

Nice small hotel near center. In 200meters there is the "air france bus" stop from where you can take the bus and go directly to CDG airport

“Disappointed with the Details”

The hotel room was small, but I knew it would be in advance. So I wasn't disappointed by its size. The bed was uncomfortable though because the mattress was hard and the sheets were rough. The bathroom was bright and clean. The shower had a glass partition that didn't effectively keep the water in the tub. As a result, the bathroom floor got wet each time we took a shower. In our room, there was a door that we could open to get a view of the street. This allowed for natural light to come in and we were able to observe life go by.

Frederick Simon was fabulous! The service was first class and the food was amazing. It was worth the price.

“Great little hotel”

Excellent location - very close to the Port Maillot (where the Air France bus arrives) with easy access to everything. Lots of small restaurants nearby. Room was well decorated and very clean. Nice lounge area with daily papers and internet (I think) Breakfast included eggs and bacon, lots of cheeses and bread. They were painting on other floors and in the lobby but no problems. Highly recommend.
