Super friendly hotel in central ParisPosted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. At check-in, they immediately took the opportunity to recommend places to visit and eat
Location: It's a 5 minute walk from the Madeleine Church. Location is perfect, either to visit Paris by foot or to take a number of options of public transport

Pros: The staff (Stephan) was very helpful when we arrived to help us plan our stay.
Cons: The rooms could use some brighter colours. The toilets don't flush well, probably just an issue with our room on the 3rd floor?
Location: Great location in the Madeline area. Within walking distance to major shopping area and stores.
We had a room facing the main street. It wasn't as noisy as some reviewers said it would be. The rooms were nice. The hotel is located very close to Print Temps, Hermes and Galeries Lafayette department stores as well as many other boutiques.

Nice hotel with a great location.Posted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Pros: Location! Excellent location--just a block from Place de la Madeleine and the Madeleine metro station. Great cafes and shopping nearby.
Location: Within walking distance of Place de le Concorde and The Tuileries Garden. Just a bit farther to the Louvre or Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
This is a very good hotel with a great location. We were upgraded from a standard room to a spacious room with a great view of the street and a king bed, which is uncommon for Paris. The room condition and cleanliness was excellent. The front lobby is small. The staff were friendly and most spoke very good English. On arrival, the staff person was very welcoming and took a long time explaining the location, buses, trains, metro, etc. and how to get around the city. They booked dinner reservations, called taxis, and handled any type of local arrangements by phone.

Central and in a nice areaPosted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: It was very central for us and in an area where we felt safe walking night and day.
Cons: A cloakroom and toilet facilities an the ground entrance floor would be beneficial.
Location: Handy for transport, shopping, cultural trips, cafés and reasonable restaurants.
We had a good flight to CDG and RER and metro to Madeleine, close to the hotel. We had booked 2 twin rooms, described by Expedia as measuring 25 sq m. each. One room was much smaller, but reception informed us that the hotel was full. Fortunately I was able to go and show them the correspondence and they said there had been a mistake (on someone's part) but transferred 2 of our party to the much larger room early next morning. The staff were all friendly and most helpful during our stay.

The hotel was great! My best friend and I stayed for 5 days and splurged for the premium room, so that we wouldn't be so cramped in a small Europe hotel room. When we got there, they had upgraded us to a privilege room which was so wonderful. Lots of space,a cute sitting area and office at the windows, etc. the bathroom was large, by Europe standards and really nice and clean. The beds were so comfortable and you need that after traveling for an entire day. Highly worth the investment!! A great view of the Eiffel Tour out our window. We didn't eat the breakfast, but checked it out and it looked good. I will definitely stay here again! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! We both work for airlines and stay in quite a few hotels, so this is a gem!!

Central Paris hotelPosted Oct 14, 2013
The staff were wonderful, offering much advice and ideas for sight seeing and restaurants. They looked up information whilst we were out and had it ready when we got back, without any prompting or requests. The rooms are small but very comfortable, clean and have everything you need. Minutes from major shopping and just a short walk from Champs d'Elysee.

MediocrePosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is very small and did not live up to a 4 star experience, the location is great and about a 10 minute walk to the louvre, and very close to great shopping. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Champs Elysses as well. The service levels are not what you would expect, they will not greet you at the front to help with bags, but the saving grace for the service was a Concierge named Marc, he was warm, welcoming and made us feel like we knew Paris in a few brief moments, he is a massive asset to this property! The cleanliness of the rooms was below par as things were not put away and a rubber glove was left in the room the first day and the second day a sponge. The value was good though approx $270 Euro a night in comparison, but be forewarned you get what you pay for.
