“Would probably visit again”
The hotel room was very small but neat and clean. Service was excellent.
“would definitely go back...”
this is a good hotel considering the location and cleanliness, despite the small room as most hotels in paris are. interior decoration is so chic and very good for picture taking. we, especially, like the service rendered by the night duty reception man during our stay (aug. 22-25, 2011) who was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. the man on duty in the morning we arrived also offered his help. arc de triomphe and champs elyssees are within walking distance. breakfast consisted of healthy choices which is good. i would surely recommend this hotel to other travelers.
“If four stars, then very, very SMALL stars they must be!”
Overall, a reasonable three star Paris hotel. I have stayed in dozens of hotels in Paris and the French star system is usually quite reliable. Except in this case. Room was very small, (and looking at the fire escape floor plan mine was the largest one on the floor!), bathrooms lacked a bidet (this is almost always present in French hotels) and the towels were old and worn. Overall, the location is fine (I lived for several years about a mile away) and the service was also friendly. However, at the price (four star level) it's not much of a value so no recommendation.
“Very Sufficient for Short Stay”
Excellent staff that was very helpful and supportive. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was located near many sites that were close enough for walking or taking the Metro. Rooms were smaller than expected; however, the beds were very good as were the bathing facilities. Breakfast was also very good.
“Will stay there again on our next trip. Highly recommended.”
My boyfriend and I were extremely happy with our stay and will choose Waldorf Trocadero for all our future trips to Paris. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable (though small as ALL Paris hotel rooms are) with a great view (we could see Tour Eiffel from ours.) We only had breakfast one morning. It was nice, though a bit overpriced. But Brassiere, a restaurant across the street is fantastic and we went there for breakfast almost every morning and dinner several nights. The location of this hotel is top notch. We loved the quite neighborhood and the convenience of being in walking distance to so many attractions.
“Great hotel.”
Good hotel, very simple, not a real waldorf though.
“Look Forward To Next Time”
We are a senior couple who have lived in Paris and found the hotel perfect for our purposes--to walk in the neighborhood, go to bookstores, and eat at good close-by restaurants.Even the hotel breakfast was high quality. For traditional tourists, the location is excellent. The hotel is now our favorite in Paris.
“Nothing special!”
Typical European service.
“very good hotel”
i liked almost everything about this hotel. may be rooms are too small for two people and sometimes wi-fi connection disappeared in my room - had to go downstairs to the lobby. but it was free.
“Convenient, Affordable Paris”
We were looking for a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood near the Champs Elysee in Paris, and this hotel met all of our requirements. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, roughly a 5-10 minute walk to both the Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is also situated roughly 2 blocks from the Boissiere stop on line 6 of the Paris Metro, this hotel offers easy access to many Paris attractions by train- an easy transfer to line 1 and you can ride the metro directly to the Louvre. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and there is an excellent pastry shop almost just across the street from the hotel. A number good local cafe's and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Our room was what I'd call a typical size from past stays in Paris, and was clean and well maintained. The hotel doesn't offer any special views of the city, but it is charming and we would definitely stay here again in the future.
