great for single guys and college students

Small, no real kitchen, outdated, noisy, not much closet space to hang wet ski clothes, livingroom and TV old, noisy due to street noise.

Great hotel near everything

Posted Nov 14, 2012
Pros: they unexpectidly gave us an extra room & the location
Cons: nothing
Location: perfect
Great location on Main Street. Near everything. Clean and spacious. When we stayed it was during the slow season. They ended up giving us an extra connecting room which was VERY nice because we had more people than anticipated stay with us.

Great location.

Pros: Location. RIGHT on Main Street in the middle of all the shops.
Cons: The check in procedure.
Great location! Right on Main Street with a balcony (only even numbered rooms face Main Street). Otherwise it was average. Check in is at another hotel 2 blocks north where you open a lock box with your room key and instructions in it. Parking is at a free parking garage 2 blocks to the SE (quick walk).

Super hotel, great location for those seeking fun

Posted Oct 24, 2012
Pros: The staff (Eric, especially) The balcony over the street The fireplace
Cons: Getting locked out when the electronic door keycode failed :(
Location: Great for access to facilities (and the Town Lift if you're a skier)
Right on Main Street - close to theatre, shops, galleries, restaurants. Some say it's noisy from the street, but the front-facing rooms are perfect for those who'd rather be out enjoying themselves during the "noisy" period (about 10.30pm to midnight). If you want peace and quiet, ask for a back-facing room. Lovely room with fireplace (gas) - comfy bed, separate kitchen/lounge area. The staff are helpful and attentive (especially Eric, who is a star). A great place if you want to be in the thick of it.

Great location! Right on Main St. A little confusing due to the front desk being in a different hotel. But once that's settled a great place! Only con is stay away from room#8 a street lamp is right outside your balcony!

Okay place, but checkin was a hassle... No AC

Posted Aug 20, 2012
You may have to check in at a hotel a couple of blocks away. You are better off showing up early and walking along main to check-in. (parking may be a hassle ) You will also want to get there early if its summertime so you can open up the windows to cool it off. (no screens either. Good thing the mosquitos arent out this year ) Its not that fancy, but it does have everything you need right on main street. Kitchen includes an oven, stove, dishwasher, fullsize fridge and dishes.

these are small condos

Posted Aug 20, 2012
This property consists of about 10 units. Entrance door off Main St. During our summer visit access was with combo lock, no front desk and zero personnel on property. After a long flight of stairs and through another fire door you arrive at a very drab inside hall. Condos are very small with small loft. Balconies (5X5ft.) accessible from loft level. One window opens to the outside and the door from loft to deck opens, but other windows do not open. In fact, they don't look outside, but look out into the hall or outward over the roof. First floor dark and claustrophobic. If you spend all day outside and are only going to sleep there I guess it's a bed.

Thank you so much for booking a room at the April Inn on Main. The April Inn consists of 11 condos. 6 of them are flats that overlook Main Street in Old Town Park City and the other 5 are loft units that face the mountains that are literally 'right out the back door'. The front desk for the April Inn is located at the Caledonian Condominium building less than 2 blocks away. The front desk is open from 9a - 5p daily during the Summer and we extend our hours during the ski season from 8a - 10p every day. We are always available during those hours and welcome the chance to take care of any needs and/or wants any of our guests have. Even after we leave for the day; we forward our phones to our after hours front desk enabling our company to answer 24 hours a day. We never refuse service, are always available, and always always do everything possible to help our guests. We will further assess the light level on the loft side unit's main levels and determine whether we need to add standing lamps to make it more comfortable. Thank you again for choosing the April Inn on Main and we hope you return in the future. Have a great day!

Amazing location, but pretty outdated

Posted Aug 15, 2012
We came up for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the little deck that hung out over Main St in Park City. Amazing walk out location to all the restaurants and action on Main St. We were here in the summer and the Sunday market was right out our door, the Tour of Utah Bike race went right past our balcony. Sitting out and people watching with a beer was very relaxing. The room itself had pretty much all the essentials except for AC which made it hard to sleep. There was a box fan we could use but even a ceiling fan would make a world of difference in that stuffy room. I understand it is a mountain town and summer is short. The room itself is really outdated, but all in all we really enjoyed our stay although mostly because of the location.
