Perfect

Pros: Location, staff, decor
Cons: We did not find any areas for improvement
Location: Park City, Sundance, great to just drive around and check out the beauty.
This resort is perfect in every way. From customer service, food offerings and service, housekeeping staff and beauty of location. We extended our stay one night to enjoy the location.

A quick Labor Day getaway. Beautiful location, beautiful hotel and rooms. My kids loved the pool and hot tubs. We loved having shops and restaurants in walking distance. We will be back!

Amazing!

Cons: One evening we had trouble finding parking in the garage because many of the spaces are marked as reserved. We did eventually find a spot.
Location: Part of the Canyons resorts; a few minutes in the car from downtown Park City. Hiking, biking trails nearby. Ski lifts at the resort.
We booked at the VERY last minute (like, at 11 am to check in at 3 pm...) and were looking for something not too expensive in Park City for a nearby soccer tournament. When we arrived at the hotel we found that we had been put into one of the very lovely, 2 bedroom, 2 bath suites! Full kitchen, 3 balconies with tables and chairs, spacious living room, beautiful full bathrooms, granite/travertine/dark wood everywhere, 3 TVs... It was absolutely wonderful. Since I will probably never stay in such a nice suite again, I will also comment on the mountain views and the great pool with two hot tubs (one a huge doughnut-shaped hot tub that was particularly nice). Also, complimentary wifi and parking! Staff helpful and friendly. It was a delightful treat!

Cool get away to the mountains.

Pros: Very comfortable, attractive, well maintained resort. Bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and helpful.
Cons: We had to get replacement key twice in a two day stay. Bedroom small, side table one side of bed only, closet difficult to open very close to bed.
Location: Located close to interstate to get to hiking trails and parks in area. The drive to Park City is brief and easy - we enjoyed dinner on Main Street.
Room was very pleasant and easy to get around the resort. The kitchen was equipped. We enjoyed the jacuzzi/pool area during our stay. The living room is comfortable with a fireplace, not sure if due to summer season but we couldn't figure out how to light, it wasn't really an issue but instructions on how the fireplace works would be helpful. The large screen TV was fabulous. The TV is mounted above fireplace so from the sofa, the distance between is close and makes watching uncomfortable after a period of time. Our stay was a wonderful retreat from the heat.

4th of July Park City Get Away

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Everything was great except the dogs in the pool area, the party from Hell going on until 11:30 pm across the hall from our room 2 nights in a row and the kids playing and screaming in the pool until after 10:30 pm two nights in a row. For the price of the rooms it wasn't a very relaxing, enjoyable weekend. It's great if you want to go somewhere that accepts, dogs at the pool and pretty much anywhere else and loud nights! Probably will not stay again.

Two-bedroom suite did not meet our expectations

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Living area was large with room for family party. Large bathrooms. Self parking. Dinner and dessert in hotel restaurant.
Cons: Mainanance!! Lighting, screens, etc.
Location: Olympic Park near Kimball Junction was fun and interesting. Beautiful surroundings!!
We usually stay at the Waldorf Astoria but rooms were not available the week we were visiting Park City. Our room at the Escala was disappointing. Two light bulbs were burned out, screen was off the track and the rooms needed a good dusting. No blender in the "gourmet" kitchen and the hotel could not track one down for us. Thin, scratchy bath towels. Kids running/yelling in the halls.

Lovely Oasis after some intense physical activity

Staff was accommodating, always smiling and quick to respond. I stayed with 3 friends in a two-bedroom suite after a grueling foot relay race and the Escala was exactly what we needed to aid in our recovery!
