Great location

Posted Jul 31, 2013
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: AC!
Location: Many galleries and lots of restaurants on the same street. Free bus to resorts, mall and hiking trails.
July was too hot for a room without AC. We stayed in July, hotel had central AC, rooms didn't. That spoiled the whole stay. Location is perfect!

Old facilities, but not that bad.

Pros: Nice location on Main Street
Cons: Update the facilities!
Front desk lady was a little cranky. It's not like a regular hotel - you have to do your own dishes and take out the trash when you leave. Floor model AC in the living room didn't help much in the bedroom.

Top Marks for our Stay

Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: No down sides in our opinion.
Location: Can't beat the location!
We loved staying at the Park Hotel. Our "apartment" was cozy and well-furnished. Having a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and spacious dressing room was very accommodating. The laundry room down the hall was very accessible. We enjoyed the location, being close to the action on Main Street and close to the shuttle terminal. (We were delighted not to have to deal with a car! ) The bedroom was well insulated against street noise at night, and a central family room with fireplace on each floor gave the apartments a sense of space. The tub on feet was a nice reminder of the hotel's history. All in all, it receives top marks from us.
