“Good!”
Very nice experience. No complaints.
“No Thank You!”
We were travelling to Salt Lake but wanted to have other options of places to explore so we choose Park City due to its historic nature and Olympic fame. We chose this hotel because it had a "kitchen" and we wanted to have a fridge for beverages. Apparently no one actually works in the hotels. I never saw a single employee and the one or two I spoke to on the phone didn't seem to realize that people like to be able to actual talk to you a customer service person. These condos can also be used for monthly or long term use so we had the join of being in a room underneth a room that was being rented by a women with several children who apparently like to play tag at 3 in the morning. The room itself was out dated, the bed was super uncomfortable, the carpet had crusty spots, the A/C was old, loud, and barely made the room cool, the bathroom had mold on the floor grout, and the paint was peeling off the walls. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone for any reason!
“Low price, low satisfaction”
Thought the property would be OK even though low in price.....since it was off season. But, problems, problems, problems: Hot water took forever to come in, the handle kept dropping off, fire alarm had no battery and left hanging open, small, small, kitchen area provided, phone didn't work, door casing on bottom teared and frayed thus could hear all in hallway, ants in room by window, not clean around molding of window on floor, guard for heating unit hanging off, blanket on bed torn, dirty wine glass under bed. All in all, not a great place to stay. Perhaps the top room price would be better!!!!! Never again!
“Poor customer service”
Upon arrival, it was "after hours." The front desk instructions state to call certain numbers to retrieve lock box information to get my key and mapy in order to get into my assigned room. I tried calling 3-4 different numbers, all which diverted to an answering machine. I called for at least an hour. No representative answered and I would not have been able to get into the room if it weren't for two kind guests who knew the information. They said they had the same problem, trying to call for 2 hours. Then, the building which I was supposed to go to that had my room was poorly marked (not the same as the building with the front desk). I drove around 30 min trying to find it. Thankfully, front desk representatives at a different hotel were able to help me redirect myself in order to find my room/building. Very disappointing.
“Nice budget place”
We stayed in a two bedroom condo. It was fine - clean, well equipped, comfortable. Only drawback - you could hear people walking around upstairs. Other than that things were clean and in good order, and the beds were comfortable. Very good for the price.
“Strangest place I have ever stayed but not a bad deal”
This hotel is not a hotel at all but a group of condos, all situated in a row of buildings. When we first got there, the front desk clerk had wandered off the job for 45 minutes, during peak check-in time, while many customers waited. The lobby of the building was equally off-putting. It looked like a cross between an unfinished gym, complete with open pipes and a suburban backyard. The center of the lobby contained a wooden gazebo with a hot tub that was filled with a strange blue dye that looked oddly like Tidy Bowl. We made the mistake of going in the tub and wound up with blue nails. The condo itself, though, was lovely. Large, spacious and immaculate. I would go back for the condo itself.
“Film Festival Bargain”
The price was right for attending Sundance, but I wouldn't stay there otherwise.
“Pleasantly surprised”
I was pleasantly surprised. This is not the nicest hotel, but it's a great value for the price. It was inexpensive, yet clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. Not located on Park City Main Street, but conveniently close enough.
“I would return!”
I was in Park City for Triple Crown Sports Fastpitch women's World Series Tournament for 18U. The hotel was easy to find . The room was clean and neat. I would recommend Carriage House to family and friends.
“worst vacation ever”
STAY AWAY!!! very bad managment, hot tub, toilet fireplace never worked. asked to fix for four days and was told that it would be fixed, and it never was. ripped bed sheets, and police in the parking lot day&night. would have been better off staying hostile,or the county jail down the road.
