Good access; need more food optionsPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Ski-in, ski-out location. Good access from SLC airport.
Cons: Better quality restaurants in the Canyons village (currently most were fully reserved during ski week), a better stocked market, and food in suites.
Location: $20 cab ride to Park City was easy.
The staff needs better training - they didn't give us our morning wake up call on the day of our flight departure and in general had a too casual attitude, such as not greeting guests as they walked up to the front. Also, despite paying for a two-bedroom suite, there was no food in the room and the local 'market' was very under-stocked, e.g., virtually no fruit or anything healthy to snack on after a day on the slopes.

Good location ski in ski outPosted Feb 21, 2015
King room was small, nothing like photo. Noisy with family next door like they were in our room. Staff were unhelpful. Always "not my job" Left 4 messages with concierge bell desk etc and not one call back Would never go back.

Walk out to the liftsPosted Feb 7, 2015
Very attentive staff. I was staying with my ten year old daughter. We had to leave the slopes in the afternoon to return rental equipment and drive to the airport. The staff arranged to have our equipment returned while we changed clothes. Our bags were packed in the car by the time we changed. Great experience. I will recommend to all who want a convenient and comfortable ski weekend.

Pros: Location - if you want to ski the Canyons, this is a great hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Rooms were small with no sitting area in hotel room. The patio was nice but it was too cold to sit outside.
Location: Park City is about a 10 minute drive away. They offer a free shuttle bus, but you have to catch it on the hour.
Stayed at The Grand Summitt Hotel at the end of January 2015. The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of skiing. Ask for robes in advance so you don't have to freeze when you exit the pool area. Access to Canyons ski area was very convenient and they offer a place to store your skiies but not your boots and poles so be prepared to walk the halls in your ski boots.

Excellent location to ski slopes.Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Accomodations were great and we enjoyed the proximity to the ski slopes.
Cons: Housecleaning didn't do all of the dishes or make up the sofa bed.
Location: Skiing and shopping.
Our 1 bedroom suite was spacious and well appointed. Great views of the ski slopes and the pool. Staff were very friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Good location, but slackingPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Location, downtown shuttle, laundry room, valet guys were great, Jo Ann at front desk
My husband and I traveled here the week before Christmas. The day we arrived, it seemed the hotel was not very busy yet. We were greeted by valet and front desk and given our room, which was a great room. Before going to meet a friend for dinner, I went to get in the shower, and found that there was no hot water. We called the desk and they sent maintenance, who said it would be about 20 min. An hour later and having to push back our dinner reservation, we asked if we could just switch rooms since there was no end in sight on the shower project. The room was smaller, with fewer amenities and the guy from the gondola had a direct view into our room (no sheer drapes or blinds). Again, the hotel seemed pretty empty at this point. The next day, we asked Jo-Ann at the front desk for a room more similar to our first room. She was very kind and found us a room with the same layout as the first. Still a couple more hiccups the rest of the trip (no shower curtain in 3rd room, housekeeping did not come one day). Seems like there is just an overall lack of attention to detail.
