“You can't get more convenient!”
The original lodge in Park City Mountain Village, but the room was completely new on the inside. My balcony overlooked the village, the lifts were a three minute walk and the bed was amazing. Plus, the staff let me check in at 9:30am because the room was ready. PERFECT spot!
“Great Location”
A dresser in which to store items would be a nice addition. Fabulous location.
“Satisfied but frustrated”
Overall the stay was good. When I arrived they told me that I was booked in a studio with a murphy bed which is NOT what I booked on Expedia. They quickly apologized and upgraded us to a 1-bedroom condo. The room was nice and comfortable. There was no furniture on the patio which I thought was weird. We had no idea where the pool or jacuzzi where until we called and asked (it was not on the map that we were given). The only problem we encountered was the day before we checked out. I ran an errand and was gone for about an hour. When I returned, I found my fiance' standing outside shivering. He said that he left the room to get a candy apple at a store next to our room. When he returned to the room, his key would not work. Because he was just around the corner, he didn't have a jacket or his cell phone. He went to the front desk where he found NO ONE working. There was a sign that said to call after the hours of 9am-5pm but there was NO PHONE !! I tried to use my key and it didn't work either. When I went to the front desk there was no one there. I called the "help" number and got an answer machine (argh!). I called back 5 minutes later and spoke to someone, he said he would be back in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, he showed up. Aparently, he was the only person covering about 10 properties and when there is an issue he has to go out to each property. Seriously! Next time, we will stay at the Marriott. Very frustrating trip!!
“Quick to fix problems”
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The TV wasn't working and they promptly sent in people to repair it. The condo room was nice, but I did not care for the murphy bed. (I didn't really pay attention when booking. Not their fault) The hottub felt great on a cool october night. Very relaxing. Overall I would come back to this hotel! Great place to go during ski season if you are into winter sports!
“Old and Tired”
My room had a murphy bed and a pull out bed. I did not have high expectations regarding the pull out bed, but did expect it to be usable. Even a kid (who can sleep anywhere) would not be able to sleep on that hide-a-way bed. The couch itself was filthy. Once opened, one corner drooped because the legs didn't prop the foot of the bed up, the mattress was so old it no longer padded the sleeper from the frame. If I discovered the floor was a better place to try and get some sleep. The bathroom was moldy—not dirty per se—but not clean either. Kitchen was very clean...and for that we were grateful. The room hasn't been updated for decades in terms of maintenance or decor. Sigh.
“Lame”
The room was a hundred degrees when we checked in. the AC didn't work and there were no cups for the coffee maker that was provided.Room was nice but I could'v been more comfortable at the best western.
“Great end-of-season deal”
Very comfortable studio apartment -- 1/2 price end-of-season special. Very convenient location. Functional, although a bit rickety, kitchen. We ate almost all meals in room. Murphy bed mattress was actually very comfortable. TV tiny, cable channels very limited (not much to do at the end of the ski day). Pool is large, indoor/outdoor both hence too cold for us. Indoor & outdoor hot tubs. Staff very nice. If we were paying full rates, would consider staying a bit farther away for less money - if renting equipment the shops will let you keep skis/boards at the store overnight, so no need to lug equipment back & forth. Very good supermarket just down the street, but a bit far to walk.
“Would definitely go back”
Convenient--on the slopes of Park City Resort. Underground parking. Ski storage lockers. Reasonably priced, especially for the amenities and location. Comfortable, well decorated, well laid out rooms and bed arrangement. Spacious. Very useful kitchen. Front desk crew a bit slow, but pleasant. Minimal housekeeping (towels and garbage only), but that's OK. Would definitely stay here again.
“Great location”
Upon arriving the the hotel our room wasn't ready - we waited and waited and waited some more. The desk staff kept calling housekeeping to check on the status and finally @ 4:10 - our room was ready. Once we did get into the room , it was great! Full kitchen - separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms. From what I could tell - each room is different.
“Great value on off season.”
We found the Lodge to be perfect for our weekend trip. We used the kitchen and dining room while there. All the utensils needed for cooking and eating were available in the kitchen. The gas fireplace added a nice touch. The only negative we noticed was the close proximity of the Murphy bed, when it was pulled out from the wall, to the living room couch. It didn't leave much of a passage way for walking. Had to be very careful about not stubbing one's toes on the wooden corner of the bed. As early mentioned, Zeke was a great front desk person. He even left a note in our room with his personal phone number. He wanted to make sure we were happy with the room and was willing to move us to another if we so desired.
