“Great location for Park City”

I was really happy with the location of this Hotel as it put us within reach to many facilities and Old Park City very quickly. Will definately come back.

“The Prospector”

Disgusting. I would never recommend The Prospector to anyone. The pictures are deceiving and look nothing like the rooms. The rooms were unsanitary and filthy, the bed were miserable as were the pillows, the curtains were taped together and were not even the full length of the window, and it smelled horrible. It was a horrible experience and a waste of money. We would have been better off at the Super 8.

“Natiskibums”

Our room with a kitchenette and balcony was comfortable. It was great for breakfast not so good for dinner. Great Resturant 1 block from condo.convienent to suttles. It was great not having to lug the skis from the parking lots! only used the rental car for going out to dinner and shopping. great value!

Area recommendations

Park City. If you do your homework, you can find affordable places to stay. Free shuttles to the 3 resorts are a real plus.

“Maintenance Nightmare”

We checked in and went to our room (which had no elevator to access). At first glance, the room looked great bc they recently renovated it. Within a few minutes, we noticed the TV did not work and called maintenance. The man arrived and appeared to have been up all night on meth. He tweaked on our jerry-rigged TV for about an hour talking gibberish to us. We called the front desk to request a change (and to get on with my birthday evening). We were told to wait while this man continued to work. As I sat watching this guy curse and tell us what a cheapskate the owner is- I noticed stains on the sofa and spots on the rug (eewwww). So, I went to get a shower and- no hot water! All bad for a Utah hotel in winter. They tried to move us to a room that was not renovated (and looked crusty). We went back and forth with the unhelpful receptionist for almost 2 hours before they finally agreed to move us. Apparently they only had larger upgraded rooms and were none too pleased to have to give this to us. In the end we got a better room, but by the time this happened, we missed any chance of going out to dinner for my Bday. The next day when we told the staff- they reacted largely unconcerned and did not seem surprised to hear a complaint. I would NOT go back here and would NOT recommend this place to a friend. There are plenty of other hotels in this area...

“Don't expect too much”

don't expect a lot and you'll be satisfied. Find yourself other activities than spending time in hotel room as they are not the best one's. There are other great activities in Park City than watching TV.

Area recommendations

Go skiing! Deer Valley, Canyons.. Don't miss out Golf if you are there in summer.

Anytime is good. Winter is perfect.

“Very good!”

Great room! Nice service. Appliances all in place. Public bus service is the way to go around park city. Had my car and left it in the garage sereval days. Good location of the hotel. A short bus ride from PCMT and the main street.

Area recommendations

I would recommend staying at prospector Ave, or maybe somewhere near the town lift on main.
