“Honeymoon Bliss”

After a summer of sweltering heat and drought, my husband and I wanted to go somewhere cold. While we knew the likelihood of any ski resorts being open was slim, we decided to go ahead and stay at the Waldorf for our honeymoon. Because it was right on the edge of ski season (two local resorts were open), the hotel was fairly deserted. We were in a King Residence, which included two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and fireplaces in the bedroom and living room. Unfortunately, due to altitude sickness, we spent the first two days in room. Luckily, it was quite comfortable. The pool and hot tub area were wonderful. We managed to take a dip in the hot tub before we left, and it was quite wonderful to be out in the chilly weather, under the stars, in a warm pool. The staff were wonderful for the entire stay. We rented a car, and valet is the only option - there is a $25 resort fee per day. We never took advantage of the free shuttle to Park City. The valets were very quick in getting the car when we needed it. The only problem we experienced was related to my husband's down allergy. We notified housekeeping upon our arrival that we needed all the down removed from the bedroom. They took the comforter and pillows, but left the down mattress cover, which we only discovered 2 days later, after 2 nights of bad sleep. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room and hotel are beautiful, and when the Canyons resort is open, you can literally walk across the street to go skiing!

“Beautiful hotel, Amazing Staff”

This is a beautiful hotel. The design was absolutely world class but still felt appropriate for a ski resort. The staff was extremely helpful. It's at the Canyons, and we skied Deer Valley, but the drive was easy and less than 10 minutes (to Snow Park Lodge). My only recommendation would be that they add more items to the breakfast menu. The things they offered were very good, but we ate there every morning and got bored with the same selections. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Beautiful Anniversary Getaway”

My husband and I spent the weekend to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. The staff was very friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations. The only dissappointment was that we were told we would be surprised with an anniversary gift from the hotel, but it never arrived. I know it was a nice gesture in the first place, but I wish we hadn't been promised something that was never to come. I would highly recommend this romantic hotel.

“Absolutely Amazing!!!”

This hotel was amazing!!! We went here on our honeymoon, as we arrived 3 valet swarmed our car and helped us with all of our luggage and groceries. Every single person there was extremely helpful. The suite was amazing, and left us in a loss for words. The entire hotel was very well kept and very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting this area. We were also approached by the General Manager who asked about our stay and had a friendly talk with us and gave us his business card. This place will make you feel like royalty at a very reasonable price. You will not be disappointed!

“Fabulous place for a getaway”

Overall, this is a fabulous hotel- the rooms are particularly well appointed, the service is top notch. Loved the ease of the shuttle service, the proximity to lifts ant the lobby is a lovely place to wait for whatever. We were surprised to discover torn sheets in our two-bedroom suite, but everything else was perfect.

“6 Star Luxury”

Amazing, Unbelievable, like you are in another world. 1br suite was like an apartment. Gotta go to Sundane while in the area!! I have travelled a lot and been in a lot of 5 star hotels worldwide, and the Waldorf was simply amazing. The pictures online don't do it justice.

“Great Off-Season Deal!”

Loved the resort. The one bedroom suite was fantastic and a great deal in the off-season. We found a complimentary bottle of wine and vouchers for free breakfast at the resort hotel, Spruce. The free breakfasts were amazing (and would have been quite expensive - with tip, $71 for two). There is mandatory valet parking which was a little annoying since we would often just pop back into the hotel for a few minutes, but it was a minor issue.
