Under construction...

Posted Jan 25, 2015
The Yarrow was heavily, Under construction when checking in. Lady behind desk ( who u could barely hear because of saws going...) said if booked by 3rd party, they were suppose to have informed me of construction work... I wasn't... I also called the yarrow personally the day before landing & was not told about construction. Manager was called & I was informed I would not be charged for room & could cancel booking... This Hotel has been around a long time. I am sure it needed improvements. I fond any ther hotel, but it was 50$ more per day. Ouch!

Perfect 3 Day Weekend!

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The empty heated pool
Cons: Guys talking load in the hallways in the morning.
Location: awesome
I was a little nervous due to the amount of negative comments one here. But I had a wonderful time. My boyfriend and I spent our 3 year anniversary here. The staff was super nice, there are some really great saloons and bar and grills nearby that we walked to.

Construction on a Sunday???

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The tea was nice.
Cons: noise level
The hotel lobby was totally torn up, although our room was clean. Construction ended Saturday at 7 p.m. and started up again at 8 in the morning on Sunday! The beeping and hammering and sawing was ridiculous. I had to ask housekeeping for ice, as both of the machines on our floor were in pieces. Couldn't get to the lobby from our room due to the construction, had to go outside and around the building. The coffee set up in the room was nice, except we couldn't use it because the brewing basket was missing on the Cuisinart coffee maker, had to make some tea instead, as I could make hot water. The smell from the paint, construction and other happenings was not pleasant. We had to keep the vent fan on to keep the air moving in the room. Probably

The hotel is currently under construction

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The location is great!
The hotel is currently under construction. Dusts everywhere. The card reader on one of the gate door is broken so we have to use another door on the other side of the building. This is really annoy especially when we have to carry all the ski gears and walk in the snow to the other side of the building.

Construction Everywhere! I was not informed!

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The location to the ski resorts was good.
Cons: The service, and communication. Perhaps having a fully functioning hotel. Most of all, security, and doors that actually work.
Location: Close to world class skiing.
Messy hallways, dust in my room, doors that didn't lock, and hallways that were not functional. We were never told there would be a complete renovation of the hotel during our stay! The noise started at 8:30am, even on Saturday, and went until 6pm. I couldn't walk down the halls without running into construction materials, and/or workers everywhere. The main doors to the building were also not locked at night, and were kept wide open during the day increasing the risk of theft, and eliminating any privacy and security. Dust from the work was in our room, and on some of the furniture, like the lamps. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work either. Overall, very disappointed with the lack of communication and information given to us. I had even contacted them directly, on 2 separate occasions, and there was never any mention of the construction.

The entire hotel was under construction

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: The restaurant
Cons: It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under construction prior to reserving the room.
Location: The location was excellent. Very close to Park City and Canyon Mountains
Upon arrival, we learned that the entire hotel was under construction. We had to walk around the outside of the hotel to get to our room due to this construction that no one told us about. We also saw ants in our bathroom after being there one night, but the staff did find a way to eliminate them. The room as ok, but nothing special. The construction really made the hotel bad. Thankfully, the restaurant was nice and it had an excellent breakfast. The location was also nice. Hopefully the hotel will be ready for their big Sun Dance festival!

Hotel is clean and has comfy beds.

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Hotel is clean, comfy and convenient location.
Cons: Finish construction.
Location: Near skiing and next to grocery store.
The stay was fine but they were under construction and it was noisy in the morning. I think it will be fine when renovations are finished.
