Great value and close to Lake Havasu

Posted Feb 18, 2013
We booked the room in Parker as a last minute road trip to attend events in Lake Havasu- all the rooms in Havasu were already booked for the entire weekend! Parker is located within 30 minutes of all the recreational activities of Lake Havasu and the staff at the BW was very friendly and it was definitely worth the value. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Just a quick stop but much better than anticipated

I didn't stay long. Just spent the night there. By far, one of the nicer hotels in that area.

Very nice!

Pros: The bed was huge and comphy!
Cons: There was no meat for breakfast
Location: Right in center of town with restaurants nextdoor.
It was clean and comphy. We were hopping for more meat at breakfast but the food was free so i would not complain.

Limited choices so you're trapped

Posted Aug 10, 2012
Pros: Breakfast was just enough to get the day started.
This is a river rat hotel so, in most cases, customers are only there to sleep after a long day on the river. Family of four enjoying the Colorado. We checked in, exhausted after playing all day in the 115 degree heat, to a 105 degree room with a refrigerator that had been turned off. Why in the world would you check someone into a room with the A/C off in that kind of heat? Front desk: "Oh, maintenance must have turned it off". Why would you ever turn it off without turning it back on? What, was he new on the job or just new to Arizona? It took an hour to get to any kind of comfort level. The second night, we came back to a room that smelled like a Marlboro convention. This is a non-smoking hotel but we realize that it happens. Apparently the rooms are ducted together so, again, another late night hour with the room door open and bathroom fan on when all you want to do is go to bed. What is alarming is that the night clerk responded to this with "Oh yeah, the last guy in that room said the same thing". What the heck? The people at the hotel were nice enough but it's obvious that they're aware that they have a captive clientele.

Very Clean and wonderful staff

Posted Jun 11, 2012
Pros: Very clean, great staff, 5 min from the river- SUPER
Cons: Only Burger King with in walking distance- but for a short 2-3 min drive there are strip malls, and a lot of places to eat and shop.
Very comfy- nice staff, large rooms...its just not fancy. I would rather pay for a clean room and nice staff then have a dirty or not so clean fancy room. We stay here every year for the annual tube float and I would never think of staying somewhere else. 4 people can very easily stay in one room. Even has a mini fride and microwave, pull out couch and two tables- this is in addition to the king size bed! Def recommend.
