Nice spot in Parma

Posted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice art deco hotel in Parma. Two communicating rooms each with its bathroom were spacious and quiet. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was pleasant but did not feature eggs or meats. Only downside was the noise from the creaky bed that kept on waking me up!

Historic old home in good location

Posted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is old home facing the park. Some parking was available inside the gated property. Good location to walk to sights in town. A bit older, though classy and everything worked well. Staff was very friendly.

Nice little hotel

Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed with my family for a single night in 2 adjoining rooms on on the way back to Milan from a week in Tuscany. Quite small rooms and basic facilities but very clean and comfortable with very pleasant staff and a nice location opposite the main park through which it's a 5 minute walk to the old town.

Good if you don't want an evening meal !!

Posted Sep 30, 2012
Pros: Comfort and parking.
Cons: No convenient source of evening meal - unless you like pasta !!
Location: It's a smart, well furnished, hotel opposite a pleasant park. It has its own secure parking.
It's a smart, well furnished, hotel opposite a pleasant park. It has its own secure parking. The downside is that they don't provide dinner, and the adjacent restaurant that used to do so is now closed. So one is jiggered for an evening meal. They reccomend a restaurant "around the corner", but this is some 15 minutes walk away - not so hot in the rain - doesn't open until 20.00, and is expensive. Not a clever set-up in this regard. However, breakfast is very good, and the table-settings and staff at this meal were exemplary.

A very good hotel

Posted Apr 1, 2012
A lovely hotel in a good, central location. The staff was very helpful. It was also a convenient location for us having a car. The only drawback is not having enough information posted online to locate the hotel. Entering Parma is somewhat complicated if one is not familiar with the city. Also, the breakfast, while delicious, was an additional cost to the room. All told, this is a very good hotel.

Happy and Impressed

Posted Jun 4, 2008
When we first arrived at the hotel, we were not sure what to think from the outide because it had an older look to it. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was located across the street from the park and walking distance to the downtown center. In addition, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended great restaurants and provided better directions than the maps for our travels to the next city.

Nice quiet, clean hotel. Easy walk in to the centre of Parma through the Parco Ducale (about 10 minutes). Very friendly staff, happy to help with advice and recommendations.

Parma is worth a trip

We traveled with a small child in Italy for two weeks and really loved Parma. The hotel is right across from a beautiful park and an easy walk to charming Parma centro.
