The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished in keeping with the style of the property but with all the modern conveniences and the staff are all so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and there is an excellent restaurant next door for dinner. Its an easy 15 minute walk through the park opposite to the town center and I felt very safe as a single female.

Great, quiet location with fine service

We thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Verdi and the staff. The location was excellent and our room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the park. The staff provided us with excellent directions to see and take in the local sites. We will definitely be back again! Ciao!

My stay at the Hotel Verdi Boutique Hotel was overall very pleasant. Parma is a small sleepy town on a Monday but nice to visit for one day. This hotel has a unique charm to it and feels like you are staying in an old Italian villa. I particularly liked the art nouveau wallpaper of our room! The hotel is a short walk through a nice park to the old city centre or train station. The street the hotel is on is a little bit noisy and the air conditioning system did not seem to work at all. The breakfast service also gave off chaotic energy even though 4 staff were on duty.

This is a nice, small hotel, convenient with parking and a short walk from a choice of bars and restaurants. Room was very nice and breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is quirky. The rooms could do with a furniture upgrade. The location is ok; but about a 20 minute walk to the town center. The breakfast is pretty good. I wish they had a nice terrace or outdoor space. Their former garden is a parking lot.

Thank you for your feedback. We are proud of being defined quirky. The restyling of aIl the rooms was made on 2017, with Italian style. Palazzo Ducale Park is big indeed, if you cross it to reach the main monuments it might take 10 minutes longer but the walk is worth it. We thank you for noticing the freshness of our breakfast products, it is one of our prides, nothing pre-made, everything is fresh. The next building inside our internal courtyard is Santa Croce Restaurant, sorry you did not ask our staff; it is always open, summer and winter, every day. A little bit of classical luxuary
Welcoming, informative, safe, and very comfortable for a night. A little bit of luxury for two weary travellers, charming surroundings and a well received breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating, set across the road from the park. Very enjoyable.

Ask before booking if you will have Air Conditioning. They control it from front desk and turn in off. After sweeting for a couple of hours i got a very nice lady at reception to keep it on for the rest of the night.

As soon as it became warmer, we made sure the air conditioning was on and properly working. Nevertheless, some guests still ask for the heating to be turned on. So, it is very hard for us to predict what will make our guests happy. Please, never hesitate to inform us as soon as possible if something makes you uncomfortable; we will immediately do our best to sort it out. Good location, staff friendly but I don’t think they see many foreigners as we felt they were staring at us all the time as if something was wrong. Strange feeling.

friendly staff, nice breakfast, across from the the Parco Ducale through which one walks to arrive at the center of Parma; train station is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel, with a bus nearby as well.

Nice spot in Parma
Very nice art deco hotel in Parma. Two communicating rooms each with its bathroom were spacious and quiet. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was pleasant but did not feature eggs or meats. Only downside was the noise from the creaky bed that kept on waking me up!

Nice little hotel
Stayed with my family for a single night in 2 adjoining rooms on on the way back to Milan from a week in Tuscany. Quite small rooms and basic facilities but very clean and comfortable with very pleasant staff and a nice location opposite the main park through which it's a 5 minute walk to the old town.

Good if you don't want an evening meal !!
It's a smart, well furnished, hotel opposite a pleasant park. It has its own secure parking. The downside is that they don't provide dinner, and the adjacent restaurant that used to do so is now closed. So one is jiggered for an evening meal. They reccomend a restaurant "around the corner", but this is some 15 minutes walk away - not so hot in the rain - doesn't open until 20.00, and is expensive. Not a clever set-up in this regard. However, breakfast is very good, and the table-settings and staff at this meal were exemplary.

A very good hotel
A lovely hotel in a good, central location. The staff was very helpful. It was also a convenient location for us having a car. The only drawback is not having enough information posted online to locate the hotel. Entering Parma is somewhat complicated if one is not familiar with the city. Also, the breakfast, while delicious, was an additional cost to the room. All told, this is a very good hotel.

WE a Parma
La prima cosa che risalta di questo piccolo albergo in zona molto centrale a Parma è la gentilezza e la disponibilità di tutte le ragazze del personale. Sufficiente la colazione. Unico appunto è stata la posizione della camera, a primo piano sulla strada, durante la notte sembrava di stare in un autodromo per il rumore delle macchine che sfrecciavano, e neanche la finestra chiusa è riuscita ad appianare
