Central location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Good bedroom and centrally located
Cons: Restaurant facility
Location: Parmas was great around early 1800s but does not seem to be alive today!
Clean hotel but without a restaurant, not really up to 4* standard. Parma as a city has seen better days and it is difficult to recommend as a city compared to Verona.

The best hotel in Parma.

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Decor of the hotel is beautiful, the hotel receptionists competent, particularly Daniella. room was well furnished, the bathroom and shower excellent.
Cons: Provide room directory, how does ac work? How do I phone Reception? What amenities are available? Provide glass tumblers. My milk satchets out of date.
Location: Centrally located within walking distance of all places of interest and restaurants.
We enjoyed the comfort and quality afforded by this hotel and its proximity to all the city's attractions and restaurants. Our visit will be a lasting memory enhanced by glorious weather. We were disappointed by the surliness and unco-operative attitude of rail company staff. Not geared up to cope with non Italian speaking visitors.

Great location

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: The room was spacious and they had a terrific breakfast spread.
This hotel is situated about 4 blocks from the train station and within walking distance to everything you could want to see in Parma. The staff spoke perfect English, although it was probably not their native language. Also, if you are interested in a great 1/2 day trip to see a Parmigianino Reggiano cheese factory contact ParmaLook (you can get the information at the Tourist Info. office in the main square). Matteo Agoletti will hook you up! Parma is a great city, very sophisticated with great food and this is a great hotel which adds to the Parma experience.

Ideal City centre location

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: Its central position, friendliness and wonderful breakfast selection
Cons: It would be good if the hotel restaurant was open in the evening as well as for breakfast as we found it hard to find quality restaurants some evenin
Location: Lots of parks and green spaces as well as historical stuff. New station with good links to Pisa,Venice and Florence
We found the hotel to be very welcoming, spotlessly clean and well organised

Very nice. Somewhat hard to find but otherwise convenient location. Tuesday morning is local market day making normal access confusing. Modern lobby, room was large with modern bathroom. Good breakfast and helpful front desk staff.

Nice hotel, location was great, breakfast was good

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, location, and reasonable cost.
We only stayed one night, but hotel staff was very helpful. There is no hotel parking, so if visitors go with a car, parking cost is extra. Garage is right next door and cost about 25euros. We hired a tour guide to take us to a cheese factory, a Parma ham factory, and a balsamic vinegar maker. Great trip.
