Hotel was very clean, the breakfast was not bad!!

“Very Impressed”

For the price I expected a Shabby looking, very cheap hotel. My husband and I wanted to split a very long trip in half and decided at last minute to stay somewhere even if it was a cheap hotel. I was totally blown away!! The service was wonderful, the room had a very nice smell and very clean and the breakfast was very good. I would definately stay there again and would recommend it.

“Change Restaurant”

First of all the Hotel honored you guys to the tee. In other words it was a package deal and I paid with a debit and the car rental place Budget would not accept my debit so I started to panic. The hotel was no problem and didnt even ask for the card. A very kind representative at Expedia refered me to National rental and everything was great. The so called Italian restaurant in the Hotel left a lot to be desired. The place was clean and quaint but when I asked for alfreddo pasta what I got was haed noodles and a buttery sauce that did not sit well with my stomach. I happen to have an iron stomach and am not in the least bit finicky but we al have our limits I guess. I'm always willing to try every restaurant at least once and lets just say once is all this restaurant is getting from me. The hotel and its staff were very accomodating and very apt to giving great service

“Very comfortable stay”

My room was excellent. The air conditioning was so quiet. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel personnel were knowledgeable, polite and personable. The breakfst was good, also. For me, it was a great stay.

“Friendly staff and good service.”

Staff are friendly especially at the front desk and breakfast counter.

“Okay.”

On the whole the place was convenient to the places we needed to go. It was clean, but smaller than expected for a room with two beds. The most difficult part of the stay was the limited English proficiency of the staff. That said, they tried to meet our needs and spent time until we achieved understanding.

“Satisfactory”

Staying in this hotel is not bad but the worst part is the Italian restaurant in the hotel.We went for dinner on the first day and it was horrible.As soon as we sat down they served with drinks and bread with butter, we almost ate half of the bread and suddenly when i looked at the other side of the bread it was full of fungus (Oh my GOD!), i was shocked and looked at the whole bread by cutting it to slices and the whole bread was effected by the fungus. I called the server and showed it to her, her response was just "Oh my Goodness, i didnt see that, I apologize for that" and she took away the bread. And we ordered for a pizza and they served a big pizza (No sizes have been mentioned in the menu card) and it was the worst pizza i have ever had. And that was my first and last visit to that restaurant. More over its very expensive too.So I suggest when you go the hotel to stay, dont prefer to go to the restaurant. Please search in the surroundings to get best food.

“I'd stay there again”

Decent place. Close enough to get to NYC by car or by bus tho bus can be expensive if planning multiple trips. Good continental breakfast, nice TV's. Even though by the highway, pretty quiet. Staff is good and helpful. There was a clerical error which was promptly resolved. I'd stay there again.

“2 rooms - 1 great!”

rented 2 rooms. 1 was perfect, the other smelled like cat urine. Fortunately for me , I had the perfect room, and my buddy has 3 cats so he was used to the stench in the other room. Also, VERY difficult to find via ms or mapquest. Better call ahead. After all, it's NJ where it's a mortal sin to make a left turn.

“Badly mismanaged and in need of repair”

I rarely write disparaging reviews of hotels, but this one earned it. Upon check in I was greeted nicely enough and given a room on the second floor. On my way to the second floor, I discovered that the only elevator was broken and judging from the age of the sign (which blamed lightning) it had been broken for a very long time. The floors were nasty. The exit door was not secured and was left open. Then when I get to my room, I opened it up to find food and dirty plates, underwear and someones luggage strewn about and the air conditioner partially taken apart. No elevator, so I lugged my luggage back downstairs and the receptionist says "oops, I wasn't supposed to rent that room". No kidding. A new room and everything was mostly ok. Some of the lights didn't work (about half of them), but otherwise ok. I, however, did have a multi-day stay and the receptionist only keyed my card for one day. Next day, I went down for the continental breakfast and the hotel staff closed it up almost an hour early and glared at me when I asked them to turn the juice machine back on. I will never stay at this hotel again.
