“Nice, clean, comfortable.”

I stayed here with two friends for one night on a road trip and we all were very impressed. Staff were very helpful when we were trying to find somewhere nearby to eat. Breakfast was great and my friends used the gym in the morning and said it was very nice. The beds were great and everything was very clean. Definitely would stay here again.

“Best Choice!”

The Hampton stay (2 nights) was very comfortable, room was clean and people were friendly. The morning breakfast buffet was a winner, lots of food items to choose from and great coffe (included a "robust" blend also). The "Hilton" connection and opportunity to use Hilton's pool, workout room, lounge, etc. was a huge bonus - the pool/hot tub were very nice! Would definitely stay there again (4 miles from Mount Tabor station/NJ Transit's train into NYC, so convenient).

Area recommendations

We drove to the Rockaway Mall, which was a very nice area approx. 7 miles away - Hampton's front desk provided driving instructions.

“Exceptional Service”

“Good hotel for business traveler”

This hotel is great for my needs. Clean, friendly and efficient staff, nice facilities, and safe. No frills that some might need like valet service, assistance w/luggage, or room service so if you need that upgrade to the Hilton.

Area recommendations

A few places to order from or pick up around the area. Just be sure to ask the desk for directions first as the adjacent highway is difficult to navigate.

“Excellent location-comfy beds”

The Hampton Inn was excellent -clean, beds very comfortable and adjacent to Hilton that contained Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Excellent stay!

“Nice place to stay for economy business travel”

Although it doesn't offer the extra amenities that some business traveler's desire, it certainly satisfies my needs. I try to keep my travel expenses down so I'm always looking for a safe, clean hotel that doesn't break the company budget. I'm a healthy middle-aged man, so I can handle my own luggage and don't need a lot of special attention. This hotel suits me fine. Their won't be anybody to help you with your luggage or park your car. There's a workout room, a rudimentary business center, and an essentials shop. They don't offer room service, but there a dozens of places that will deliver to the hotel pretty quickly. I've stayed here a few times and everything is always clean, every one is polite, and I feel 100% safe, even walking to the car at night. Believe me in some NJ areas that means a lot!

Area recommendations

Morristown is just 10 minutes away, with plenty of historical interest. I go on business, so I don't have a lot of time to explore, but I have made it to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, which is fantastic for a few minutes of relaxation at lunch or after work in the summer. There are also a few libraries if you want to take a few minute relaxing and enjoying a read.

“A pleasant surprise”

The employees were very polite. The room was much nicer than I expected. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. I got a great night's sleep-which doesn't usually happen the first night that I am away from home. The breakfast was quite nice-not just the usual stale danish but a nice choice of yogurt, fruit, cereal, some hot food, juice and coffee-a wonderful way to start the day in a very nice area with a fireplace and comfy chairs. What a nice experience!

Area recommendations

We went to Morristown on business and we only stayed one night in the hotel. We had lunch in Morristown after we were done but didn't see much of the area.
