Overall Great ExperiencePosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The first night was a little scary and upsetting. The hotel had double booked my room, was woken up at 12:30 a.m. from a deep sleep to someone opening the door with a key. The hotel manager did apologize for this inconvenience and did give me a complimentary breakfast but I felt this was not enough. Hardly slept that night as I was not sure how secure and safe the hotel was. Thank goodness for the latch system. The cleaning service was fantastic, very clean rooms.

Hotel is under remodeling - avoidPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Room linens
Cons: It needs the remodeling
The Hilton hotel is under remodeling/serious repairs. Front entrance and other services are barricaded. My room was comfortable, the employees were non-chalant and slow moving. Too pricy for the services offered. For the next 2-5 months or however much time the hootel is being worked on, I would recommend travelers stay at the Hampton Inn in Parsippany which shares the same parking lot and level of service. It will save them 2/3rd of Hilton's room rate.

swamp roomsPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is outdated, creepy and dingy. The humidity and air is heavy leaving everything wet to the touch. Never should I see soggy footprints in freshly walked carpetting. Fears of mold and bed bugs serged through my head. In short, this was the most disgusting hotel experience I've ever encountered. If given the option of a free room or sleeping in the heat of my car, I'd choose my car hands down.

Damp room and damp bedPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The entire room was damp when we arrived. The bed and carpet were wet to the touch from the humidity. This gave the room a terrible musty smell and made anything to sit on unpleasant. The air conditioning did nothing to solve the problem and the front desk was equally clueless. The pool had guests in it at 11:30, shrieking and keeping us awake. The front desk did nothing about this even after three calls to complain.
