Friendly staff in satisfactory motelPosted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff.
Cons: Coffee. I am not sure whether cleaning the maker was overdue or they need a new brand but it was really bad.
Location: Fellowship Village, Sloan Kettering, USGA Museum, Great Swamp
As a woman traveling alone I especially appreciated the friendly staff who noticed everyone who came into the hotel. I felt safe and truly welcome. My room was perfectly clean and quiet at a reasonable rate for this affluent area. My suggestion to travelers is to stay here but avoid drinking the coffee, which no one at breakfast finished. Fortunately there is a very good breakfast place (Urban Table) and a Starbucks nearby.

Bad Customer Service Ruined ItPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed a total of 11 days in this hotel. Unfortunately the bad days overshadowed all the good. I will start with the good. It has a good location. It's close to all the major highways. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It had a restaurant, bar, back porch dining and even an exercise room. The bad starts with wood flooring in the rooms, you can hear walking and heels were super loud. The hotel seems to have been updated recently but when you look closely it was poorly done. The restaurant takes forever to get in and out. One night I was there for 2 hours and I placed my order immediately when the server came. I had to go up to the bar to pay my check or else I would have been there a lot longer. Three times I had an issue and went to the front desk where I was confronted, yes confronted and not helped, by a furrowed brow Hindu woman. The first time I had an issue with both the ice machines not working. She argued with me that my information was incorrect and sent me to the bar for ice. The second time I needed an updated internet password. She reached into the garbage and handed me an old guest paper. Odd, isn’t it? The third time was a noise compliant from a wedding party that was noisy until 3am in the morning and the fact that I couldn't reach anyone from my room when I chose the operator button. She argued with me and told me I should have dialed 0 and immediately dismissed me to help another guest. Hotels should be all about customer service. This one is not.

Alright... not sure it's worth the price.Posted Jun 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
For the way the hotel is advertised online and the price tag for a single night (approx $200), I expected a little more from Hotel Indigo. I was able to get a refrigerator for medical reasons after some lengthy phone calls, but the inside wasn't clean and smelled strange. The elevator was a little scary at times and some of the outside lights were burnt out or flickering. Honestly, I don't really mind these things, I was just surprised considering the online pictures and descriptions. Other than that, the staff was really friendly and helpful, and there were some pretty cool stores and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.

Excellent location, great servicePosted May 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a very convenient location. It caters to the business traveler, as well as the leisure traveler. The hotel provides wifi throughout the facility, which makes it easy to work wirelessly at the bar, in the lobby area, and other areas throughout the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, and spacious. Staff is incredibly accommodating, courteous and friendly. They seem to enjoy their jobs immensely.

Wonderful hotel close to classes attended for workPosted May 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very nice area and close to a number of wonderful sights. Our car had problems while we were there and the staff was very helpful in helping us located places to get it fixed. They greeted us every time we came in and left the hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The housekeeping staff was very respectful and did a great job of cleaning the room. We were very happy and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Good hotel for business. Needs a pool.Posted Apr 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice decor. Clean rooms and public spaces. Beds were a little short for queens, and there was an odd wood floor in the room where the slats did not all meet on the edges. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and a hotel I would use again for business. Needs a pool to be a family destination.
