The room was okay, but smelled musty. The staff gave us a deodorant to neutralize the smell, which helped. They offered to change our room, but we decided to stay. The staff was really helpful. Hotel was convenient.

We arrived in our room and the first thing we see is a huge burn mark on the carpet outside of the bathroom.

Reasonable price and excellent room
Absolutely spotless room in a quiet area. Excellent front dewsk service and a delicious buffet breakfast. Would definately stay again.

Super room, comfortable bed and great shower room. Very good sound insulation. What a shame the noise of the air extraction/air con went on all night. I could even hear it through my ear plugs. Otherwise great stopover at reasonable price.

Second stay here after a very nice night a week earlier. Unfortunately the ground floor room had been smoked in and there was a very unpleasant smell.

A lovely welcome and good advice about local attractions restaurants etc. The room was clean! The bathroom was clean! THe only down-side here is that Expedia's price, as with the last booking too, was quite a bit more than the hotel's standard walk-in price. I was very annoyed at having to pay more via Expedia that someone just turning up!

Very easy access. Good parking. Friendly staff on late arrival. Clean rooms, good wifi. Would have like adjoining rooms (requested), bath (mentioned on website) and a kettle, but these weren't guarenteed so it was not a problem.

Everything about our stay was good. The receptionist was extremely helpful, the room and linen were spotlessly clean and there was a restaurant next door (or MacDonalds).

Clean and friendly place for an overnight stay
This was an ideal place to stay for 1 night. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was easy to find and park, on the outskirts of Arras. The breakfast was quite satisfactory and good for value for money. The room was basic (as we knew it would be) but it was clean and comfortable.

Hotel Ace Beaurains Arras
Had a one night stay at this hotel on our way down (in the car) to Epernay and R eims. Great stop off place, too far to walk into Arras, but it was easy to take the car - and not too bad to find a parking place on a Tuesday evening. A comfortable stay - the staff were very friendly, but it was a bit of a big deal for the receptionist to find another couple of pillows for our bed. However, she did manage to find them (plus tell us about the electric heater on the bathroom wall - which appeared to be on permanently!) Shame there are no coffee-making facilities in the room - which would have been great after a long journey, as there did not seem to be much available in the vicinity. There is a large boulangerie across the road - but the roads were rather too busy to negotiate on foot, so we ended up driving - but the breads and croissants (and other soft drinks) were absolutely delicious and well worth stopping off for!. The hotel seems to be in the middle of an industrial/retail park, so no great views from the hotel window.

STAY AWAY FROM ACE HOTEL
We BOOKED with Hotels .com and still had to proved credit card and we are billed by Hotels.com and again by Ace hotel on my credit card being charged twice. They did not want any doing since they say it was a Hotels.com issue.
