Great hotel to use for Chunnel or Ferry TerminalsPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Its location to both Chunnel and Ferry Terminals is excellent - about a 10 minute drive. It is also well located for the Hypermarkets.
Cons: My usual grouse about pillows and towels could do with updating.
Location: Just a good location - not in the town centre and close to all amenities.
With a SatNav this hotel was very easy to find and well located. Plenty of free parking and rooms clean and comfortable.

Get what you pay for. Suggest you do not stay. Rooms do not feel clean though bedsheets and linen are. Personally travel a lot, worst hotel I have stayed in within Europe.

Room for improvementPosted Jun 2, 2014
Booked a family room for 3 people, got given a double room so once the 3rd bed was open, the inside door could not be closed without lifting the bed. Also, access to the bathroom was seriously restricted due to the lack of space. Had to go back to reception to ask for 3rd towel as only two in the room. No hairdryer. Only a few TV French channels working, no English channels. No parking space though hotel staff offered for us to park at another carpark but then said it was safer on the street as the other car park was small and could result in scratch marks due to car doors slamming into our own. Left car on road and it was intact the day after. Bit of a queue in the morning to leave the hotel and we were in a rush so not the most pleasant check out. On the plus side, the staff was pleasant and helpful and tried their best.

Pros: THE SIMPLICITY
GOOD PLACE TO STAY AFTER ALL DAY DRIVING. RESTAURANT ON SITE WITH LIMITED OFFER, BUT GOOD FOR TIRED PEOPLE. WE ARRIVED 09:30 PM. CHECKED IN AND TOOK THE DINNER. WHAT WAS NOT BAD. COULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY WHO HAS GOT ENOUGH AFTER LONG TRAVEL.

Convenient for Eurotunnel and ferry portPosted Apr 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is very convenient for overnight stop for the Eurotunnel or ferry port. The restaurant is the usual basic, but good, standard found in all Camapanile hotels. However, this particular hotel is well overdue for a refit aith signs of wear and teat everywhere.
