Pros: Close to the harbour and main square.
Cons: Softer beds.
Close to the centre of town and the harbour. Just a few minutes walk. Nice breakfasts, and we had a balcony. I did not like the beds, they were too hard for my liking. Access to the hotel during the day and garage a bit "fiddly" but not a show stopper. Hotel entrance is in a pedestrianised area. You can walk 50m and get a remote from reception to lower the barrier, unload your bags and drive round the square to park you car. Again another 50m walk back to the hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms are fairly basic, but the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We slept like babies. We didn't take the breakfast option so can't comment on the food

Good position for the old town and the portPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Cons: The Internet access did not work all the time, but it might have been because we used iPads.
Location: Nice walk on the ramparts of the old town, a visit to he belfry is good, good views from the top. Nausicaa is a great sealife centre.
We enjoyed a few days in Boulogne, went to Nausicaa and the old town. We enjoyed the breakfasts, we decided to eat breakfast at the hotel every day, it was simple, but tasty. We had a larger room at the back, pretty comfortable, just a shame that the seagulls were so noisy.

Great location and friendly staffPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location for the old town and beach. Central for shops, bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Nothing is too much trouble. Secure parking is a plus. Rooms could do with an update but it is a 3 star older hotel with character. Rooms have everything you need and the breakfast room and garden are very pleasant.

Ideal for short getaway break!Posted Feb 18, 2013
Pros: Location & staff
Cons: Size of en suite toilet!!
Location: In centre of Boulogne
Very comfortable, convenient with very helpful staff. Room was on front of hotel, second floor and we were awakened several times by passers by talking/singing loudly! Although double glazed we wanted some fresh air during the night. Would recommend asking for a room at rear next time. Car parking in hotel garage very good and careful use of the satnav/map got us there without too much trouble. Hotel responded very promptly to our queries by email. All TV channels were in French, good for language development but in 2013 surely some channels could cater for English speakers of whom there must be quite a few! Coffee/tea making facilities, another modern day item would be nice. Lift is VERY cosy with just room for two and a toothbrush! Layout of room gave us two wash basins in en suite but toilet similar size to lift! Clearly the designer did not consider the practical consequences of such an arrangement! Excellent breakfast in room overlooking small garden. Even better when we realised the eggs still had to be cooked in the most amazing 'pot' for doing hard boiled eggs! Altogether, a very positive experience.

A Lovely StayPosted Oct 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The hotel is placed in the centre, so once the car is parked, in the hotel secure garage, you don't need it again to explore the town. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Very convenient hotel for exploring Boulogne. Efficiently run with friendly staff. Good shower and room clean & well serviced but it was rather cramped and needed bathroom door fixing. Hotel car park expensive

A comfortable and welcoming hotelPosted May 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very welcoming and all staff very pleasant. I was impressed with the level of decor and cleanliness, so will definately be returning. The breakfast was tasty, with sufficient choice and lots of fresh bread. The hotel is centrally located and ideal for accessing all areas of Boulogne.
