tired and datedPosted Sep 15, 2013
Cons: a touch of modernisation
Location: quite easy to find and a short walk into st. omer centre
although nothing too bad or horrible it is just a tired and dated hotel. easy parking outside the door. clean rooms but could do with a makeover.

Two nights at Hotel Le Bretagne, St OmerPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: A quiet cathedral town with lots of character, many beautiful buildings, and a wide selection of restaurants, 25km from Calais.
I found the room clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The only problem was some noise from a ventilator (?) which went on all day and night but which did not prevent me from sleeping. The hotel food was sensitively cooked and well presented. I found the manager helpful but some of the other staff were less positive.

Good base for Pas De Calais sightseeingPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: The hotel rooms are a bit basic but with free car parking and an excellent restaurant on site it's hard to beat.
Location: The hotel is in an excellent location on the edge of town just five minutes walk to the railway station & about fifteen minutes to the main square.
This hotel is a very handy base for anyone sightseeing in the Pas De Calais area. I stayed here for five nights with my brother after travelling over on the Euroshuttle. The World War Two V1 & V2 bunker sites are only a few miles away & its only a short drive to Agincourt. The walled town of Montreuil is only about an hour away. St Omer itself has a good selection of excellent restaurants.

How did this hotel get 3 stars?Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel appearsto be firmly in the mid 1980s. The girl on reception was unfriendly and avoided any pleasantries or eyecontact. The "superior" room was reasonably large but cheaply furnished with the bare minimum of comforts. Towels were clean but thin and well used. The overall decor was souless. We had stayed in the ST Omer Ibis in the past but could not get in this time; we will never stay here again and hope the Ibis will be available next time

Good servicesPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is old building and the room is small there is no extra pillow for two people staying. No air condition in the hottest Summer Day we have to open the window night and day. Sunday night we are looking for foods but restaurant is closed and the bar?

Delicious dinner at reasonable pricePosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had difficulties locating the hotel because of poor instructions and difficulty driving round one way streets. Receptionist was helpful on arrival and enjoyed a attractive menu at a very modest price.

Very good stopover hotelPosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a really great hotel for an overnight stop. Friendly staff and a good location for stepping off to the rest of the continent.

A good hotelPosted Apr 9, 2013
Our Loo seat was broken and we spoke to the receptionist about it and we were offered another room.We had a standard room it was a big room. We stayed for two nights so we were able to have a day enjoying St. Omer. The hotel supplied us with a vey good tourist book with lots of information in it.
