We are two couples who love to visit Northern France which we have been doing for many years. We decided to visit the 21st Herring Festival at Etaples and needed comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price for just one night. The Kyriad is easy to find although about 2kms North of the village but it appears to be a very popular spot and was quite busy during our stay.
The reception staff were extremely welcoming and coped with our Franglais very well, the rooms were comfortable, warm and clean. After our stroll into the village we decided to dine at the Hotel which again we thought reasonably priced. All of us cleared our plates as well as enjoying a palatable pitcher of the house red wine modestly priced at under 10 euros for a litre.
Breakfast is served between 08.00 and 10.00 am and the coffee just keeps on coming with English breakfast tea available if required. The breakfast fare on offer is typically continental and there is an abundance of croissants, endless baguettes in addition to cereals, fruit and all other accouterments that one would expect in France.
Overall a favourable experience that all in our party would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone seeking an excellent small hotel at a really competitive price. Well done Hotel Kyriad!!

Friendly reception, clean room, good en-suite.
Basic but very acceptable at the price. This is a good quality motel.
Out of town within reasonably easy walking distance of adequate restaurants.
Quiet, convenient parking. We had a good night's sleep.

A lot of the reviews of budget hotel/motels are from people expecting the Sheraton or Westin and then getting disappointed. The hotel was exactly what I expected and the price I paid for the room was about right. It is clean and comfortable and is situated on the first roundabout, then second exit from Exit 6 off the A26 Motorway. The staff were helpful and spoke reasonable English on my arrival and explained all the necessary bits and bobs. The room was clean and tidy and cleaned every day and I certainly heard no noise from the Motorway. There is tea and coffee making facilities though my suggestion would be to take your own because the selection is limited. Being english I need a decent cup of tea in the morning and not a lime or raspberry tea infusion. I gave this hotel 5 stars for everything because it pretty much ticks all the boxes for an overnight stay to break up your journey on trips through France.

Very comfortable beds and good value for money. Nice to have tea/coffee making facility. Receptionists were friendly and very helpful. Convenient to stop as it is close to motorway and Arras. We did not eat in the restaurant but would like to try next time. Excellent value for money. It was our first time and enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely stay in future. Thank you

We stayed in several Campanile hotels over the course of our trip and this one was fairly typical - the room is adequately large, the beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom was complete, clean and of a decent size, and the parking was free and secure. While many Campanile h/motels are located in relatively remote parts of town, they all have a restaurant and the food and prices are quite reasonable. The Campanile hotels are a cut above the other big budget chain and are good value without being fancy. The staff at this one went out of their way to be helpful.
