Being staying on & off for 10 years now , great location right on the beach rd , beautiful swimming pool & the front of hotel , there is a 2nd pool there to but work being carried on it , I stayed here last year & since that time the rooms on the 7th floor have all been updated to a high standard, maybe all the floors have been renovated but cannot day , well worth the money

Noisy hotel and unrespectful staff
Bad check in behaviour by receptionist. They always play being busy even though they have nothing to do. Noisy rooms at night and I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast is crawded and staff need behaviour course and training. The internet not working. No towels at swimming pool.

Nice hotel...close to the beach..
This is the eighth time we stayed at A-ONE Hotel...I personally loved the old wing because most of the rooms are sea-facing .. great ambience, neat and clean and spacious rooms....reasonably priced....very appropriately placed...walking distance from restaurants and groceries and shopping places... And twenty-four hour wifi...No wonder we keep going back again and again Only feel ...that the staff should be educated a little more in English because most of the time they don't understand what you are saying... Thank you.

Staff and service is pathetic. They didn't change the towel and cover bed Had a very bad experience with the staff i called the room service many time no answer and asking me to pay 100 THB for ice cube the worst staff and service experience I have had yet.

Nice hotel, shame about the.....
I rated this as terrible the other week because the aircon and plumbing did not work and the staff didn't seem to care. I have increased the rating slightly this time because the aircon did work. Unfortunately the shower still suffered from the exceedingly short time before the water went cold so, if you are a couple synchronised speed showering would definitely be worth practising before arriving here and I think the goal should be set at under a couple of minutes. its sister hotel, the A-One Star is considerably cheaper, utilises the same facilities AND has working showers, plus aircon. Useful tip there.

Final time at this hotel
on the recommendation of my wife, who with her family has been coming to this hotel over a number of years, I booked a stay of one week. It has been a disaster from start to finish. It started on arrival, having booked a room for 3 adults we ended up being given a put up bed designed for a child of maximum age 10. This was never satisfactorily resolved but then neither were any of the other issues. The shower would suddenly go cold after about 1 or 2 minutes and although they sent someone to have a look that is exactly what they did. Just looked! The same with the air con in the room. It never worked properly and again the person arrived at the room and just looked at it. We did spend a night at the A-One Star hotel which is on the same site, considerately cheaper and the shower and air con worked perfectly. My recommendation to others is if you are going to choose this hotel take the budget option. You will have a better stay than at the New Wing. We have decided never to stay in this hotel again, and will be moving to the Mercure tomorrow.

Wouldn't stay here again. There policy is to charge you $30 if you bring anyone into your room. They look to make money off everything and jack up prices of tours, telephone calls, etc... Their exercise room has poor wifi service and I was often unable to access music while working out. This was the worst place I stayed at during my vacation

An overall disappointing stay. On booking there was no mention that there were 2 of the 4 pools closed and one of them only had 3 beds to sit on around the pool. My wife asked reception and was told that they didn't think they needed to as 2 more were available, but the website and photos show the main pool. Breakfast service was poor in general, some days more than others and the staff not too attentive. There were loads of very noisy Chinese around until the Mon/Tuesday then everything went quiet after they checked out, then on the last night the noise returned with a group of Indians and were loud and noisy for 2 nights. On calling reception to complain as it was waking my son and my wife was not able to sleep, no action was taken. I stayed in this hotel some years back and things were ok then, everything seems to have gone down hill, not coming back!

Refurbished room with old smell
Stayed 1 night. A room was okay but a wall between rooms was so thin that you can hear TV sound next door. If you don't like a hotel targeting tour groups then this hotel is not for you. The best thing of this hotel is location, just a short walk to the beach.

Hotel on the beach, has good pools and good gym
On paper good but two things. Showers still have a mind of there own. Often water stops half way through. This was same previous visit. It seems they are now concentrating on large group tours which are either Indian or Chinese. Unfortunately these groups tend to have conferences between themselves at 2 or 3 in the morning on the tiled hall ways. Their voices are very loud and no consideration for other guests. It's part of business but these groups detract from other guests and as such would not go back.

Miner moans but overall good.
Hotel has great location, on the beach, all amenities are good. The moans are firstly the reception staff! If you are lucky one out of the three on duty speak a little English. Very frustrating trying to get something solved. A smile would be nice. As all the hall ways are tiled you do have an amplification of hall way noise. When groups of travellers congregate in the hall way to discuss there arrangements for the day at 6AM, its a pain. Hotel is very good value for money, its reasonable clean, just a little tied as you would expect. Overall would rate it 3.5 and would stay there again

Terrible design on a beachfront. No Views.
In a word - AWFUL! This hotel is the worst design I have ever seen anywhere in ASIA or globally. The design is ridiculous for a beach side hotel. Forget the cruise/ship marketing - this is a disaster! Four buildings each with four sides in a rectangle. so 8 sides will always face each other - no views. 2 more sides on the back 2 buildings face away from the beach there's 10 sides that have not a single chance of a sea view. Next the front is all the stupid bow of a ship, so no real rooms with a view there - so another two sides have little or no views. So there we have it. 16 sides and only 4 have any views of the ocean or remotely beach front. Service is non- obvious - short, snappy and didn't care, even if they could understand another language and most people did not seem to. Wont be going back - big disappointment.

Recommended for Muslims due to the Halal certified Harbour Restaurant. hope it maintain and hope it upgrade its other F&B outlets in its adjoining A-One resorts & hotels to Halal certified to be a magnet for more Muslims visitors to Pattaya. Being a beach front Hotel is a plus.

Just a normal hotel
Booked 2 superior rooms via Expedia mobile app 2 weeks before the trip, received email from Expedia stating everything is confirmed and no need to call hotel for confirmation. The app or the hotel website do not offer special request such as double bed or twin bed although email from Expedia stated special request can be access from the given link/website. At the end, I got to search for the hotel email to request for bed type and connecting room or side by side room as we are travelling with children. But the email response from hotel was slow, and simply responded with a statement of "No Connecting room", I replied to ask side by side or opposite room, but no response thereafter! When checked-in, the front desk officer could not find my booking, only after more than 30 mins they found it ! what a service level. The hotel room quality is satisfactory, but if you don't like to stand on the bath tub with a shower curtain to shower, then this is not the room for you. Breakfast - very little choice, good thing is you can order for Cappucino or Latte. It is over price, about 600B for adult and 400B for children.
