Pros:

Great hotel, but not a great location

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: 1) The rooms 2) The facilities
Cons: 1) The food in the restaurant
Location: As I said before, the location is not great. I suspect that the surrounding area will improve with time, as there is a lot of development taking place
This is a really nice hotel (really, it is a block of apartments). It is well maintained, the rooms are huge, and the staff are helpful. It has a lovely swimming pool on the roof, and pretty much everything you would expect from and above-average hotel. I only have two minor gripes. First, it is not ideally located. It is somewhat hidden away on an unmade road, is a decent walk (even with the golf cart, which is not always available, taking you part of the way). And there are no nice restaurants and only one decent pub in the vicinity. Second, the food in the restaurant is not great. But the Amari Nova is outstanding value for money.

Local Atmosphere

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: Comfortable and well run.
Location: A backwater but everything within walking distance. Hotel buggy, taxis or sitting on the back of a motor bike if you are lazy.
Mixture of hotels with local housing and shops / eating places was unusual in my experience. Made for an interesting stay.

Hotel in the centre of Pattaya

Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: It is small enough to be intimate but has all the facilities of a larger hotel
Cons: The TVs had very few English speaking channels
Location: Small local shops are near and a large one is a curtesy golf cart ride away . Clubs and bars are also close by.
The staff at the Amari were very, very helpful and friendly. They were willing to answer any query we had. The suite was large and airy and in good condition. It is decorated in black and white which gives a very clean and open feel. The only down side to the hotel was its position. Being in the middle of Pattaya it was more tricky to get to places. Having said that if you are not interested in being at the beach and are prepared to take taxis to get around it is fine. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back again.

Eckzimmer mit Waschmaschine, Gefrierschrank und Küche. 107 qm. Zwei Fernseher und zwei Balkone, gross genug zum joggen..... Personal immer freundlich und kompetent. Etwas abgelegen. Zum Zentrum ca 10 min.

UK Couple 2 weeks in Thailand

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The big open and clean rooms. The fact that we had a fully equiped kitchen if we need to keep driink or snacks.
Cons: If anything a little maintaince on the bathrooms, they were showing a little wear...but not enough to put anyone off.
Location: Location is great you can walk to 2nd street within 5mins, but if that is too much hotel will give you a free lift via tuk tuk to 2nd street or Big C
This is not just a hotel, it is a home from home. The rooms or should I say apartments are massive. We booked a one bedroom corner suite. Each apartment has a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, sperate bedroom and bathroom and loads of storage as well. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaner are very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and interacting with you. Thank you to all the staff we had a great time. The hotel offer a free tuk tuk service to Big C shopping centre or 2nd street where you can get tuk tuk ride all the way around to beach road for 10baht per person! Rooms are cleaned every day and the roof top pool is a real pleasure especially after a day in the sun. This is one of the best hotel’s I have stayed at and my wife and I will be coming back soon. Tip: if you walk to 2nd street, there is a bar on the way Sunshine Garden Bar. Give it a go, it is owned jointly by a Expat and Thai wife (Thomas and Chi) we had the most wonderful evenings in this bar. Everyone is so friendly we were treated as long-time friends.

Stayed in suit room - nice, though a bit outdated, design, spacious rooms, big balcony. Clean pool 1.40m deep with "jacuzzi" built in one of the sides. This hotel is Okay for few nights stay.

Nice hotel. To far from beach

Posted Oct 18, 2014
The staff where very helpful and friendly. The room was well presented, clean and tidy. The only problem, it was further from the beach than I would have liked
