Not satisfiedPosted Jul 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
There is no stopping or parking spot in front of the hotel. The stalky day doorman was rude. The restaurant has no sugar substitute and does not care to fix that situation. I purchased a studio for 2 nights and only received a standard room. I have never written a critical review before but felt I should warn others. I cannot understand why the hotel has such a high customer service rating other than it is in a good location and the breakfast buffet was descent.

Fantastic locationPosted Jun 26, 2013
Little, boutique hotel in fantastic location just across the road from the beach with view over the whole bay. Entertaining watching the life go by and watching a beautifull sunset from your balcony. Very clean, flowers everywhere, good breakfast, room size adequate, good showers and very good free WIFI. Fresh fruit platter on arrival and free stuff in your minibar every day (1 beer, 1 coke, 1 milk, 1 fruit juice and 2 bottles of water). Staff, although not speaking perfect english is very helpfull, will organise your tour or help you find the store you are looking for. Security day and night, interesting library and free gym. No pool but we spend 14 days there and only once we wished there was one. You can go next door if you really want one.

nice place for the moneyPosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: outdoor patio, lobby, and lounge areas are nice
Cons: a bit far from shopping and the pier
Location: on the beach
This is a nice hotel for the money. The front patio, lobby, and lounge area are quite nice, and the rooms are pretty good, too. We had a nice view of the beach across the street. The breakfast buffet is decent but not extensive. The only downsides are a less-than-ideal location (far down on the quieter side of the beachfront road) and the attitude of employees was a bit below average, at least by Thai standards. That said, we would stay again.

Good value for PattayaPosted May 26, 2013
Pros: Service, location, price and quality
Location: Right across the street from the Beach in a quiet area of Pattaya
Nice hotel in a quieter area of Pattaya -- right across the street from the beach. Decent breakfast, nice rooms with good showers. Pay the extra $$ and get a room with an ocean view balcony, well worth it! I still wonder why anyone would bring their children to this crazy city... or why anyone would come here for the beach which, while it looks okay, is completely dirty and might be hazardous to swim in!

This was our second stay and we will be back. You get a lot for your money and the sea view room is a must. The food was wonderful as well.

Good Party Hotel...Not for Romantic Get AwayPosted Mar 26, 2013
Pros: Terrace Cafe. But you can skip the breakfast. Almost no selection.
Cons: Noisy street, Just OK service, leaking shower and NEVER GOT INTERNET IN THE ROOM TO WORK... :(
Location: Party street, many merchants on a not so clean street, construction starting right next door.
As we are used to traveling to other parts of Thailand, mainly Pantong, we were expecting the usual smiling faces and exceptional service. We got neither. It was not a bad experience overall but we won't be staying in this part of Pattaya if we ever do go back. It is one of the few Thailand destinations we had not been to and only had 72 hr getaway so it fit the bill (travel time wise and price wise). When we arrived it was very late at night almost 1AM. We had worked all day and then shot to the airport for the trip from Macau to BKK. The 1 1/2 hour car ride was just as tedious as the extra airplane we "didn't" take to Patong. Hindsight is 20/20. We were checked in by one staff and no help with bags at that time of night. The hotel has been re-modeled but no pool and terrible internet connection in the room. (Ours was RM404 with the nice beach view) Had to stand by the entry door to get any sort of usable signal. FRUSTRATING! Free is not always FUN! Bathrooms need upgrading next. Food at Terrace cafe was pretty cheap and very good. Even tried the spa on 2nd floor for a foot massage. About the same price as on the street so we indulged. Best part of the trip was our last minute foot massage for sure. Beach is really "unusable" more like a marina for rental speedboats than a proper beach really. We charted one to another island and had an amazing afternoon with crystal clear water and no "beach chair wrestling".

Too much building workPosted Mar 25, 2013
Location: On beach rd
Not informed building work being carried out on adjoining building, even including Saturday and Sunday. Therefore dust everywhere. I am not overly fussy it's just that it was bad from building work and the place not being cleaned out. But to be fair it would have taken a few hours to clean each day with all that dust. We ended up checking out after just 1 night 2 days at it. Better to loose money and feel clean!
