Overall the hotel was quite good, though a little dated, could do with patching up and the area down by the beach was not nice at all, this may have been due to the dirty water from the recent storms. Most of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to please and assist us. We organised transport through the hotel to and from the airport and this went very well. For westerners their is not a lot of choice in the buffet option for breakfast, but in saying that we never left there hungry. A lot off reviews we read prior to going had us a little worried, but we should have known better, yes there was a little bit of an oily film to the pool, but this is due to the sunscreen everyone uses, we saw the staff cleaning the pool area every day. Pool access rooms are well worth it, we loved being able to get up from our room and jump into the pool and swim over to the pool bar, where we ate lunch several times. Man who worked behind the pool bar was excellent and made the best Pina Coladas, he also new what the four of us would order for drinks, so we didn't have to ask after the first day, he just made them.
The only real criticism we have about the place is the beds were extremely hard and felt like you were sleeping on a board, other than that had a great time.
