“great hotel for a family”
great hotel for a family, very nice people, clean, beautiful view
“The most quiet and beautiful hotel in the area”
It is a rather small hotel, with very friendly staff, located somewhat far from the city, we needed to use some transportation every time. The hotel has a comlimentary bus, but it was not always convenient to use it because of its schedule. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it has its own beach (shared with 2 or 3 condominiums), which is small, but almost empty. Also there are two beautiful pools, small pool for little children, and jacuzzi under a waterfall. The breakfast was very diverse and tasty, like any continental breakfast in Europe, but with some Asian food in it (noodles, fried rice etc.), which was very nice. The other restaurant was available for dinner, offered european and asian cousine, however, the price for alcoholic beverages was rather high, than in the city. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend this fine hotel.
“relax &private”
good place to see
“Recommendable for a relax-holiday”
Good for families
“A real restful and stressfree holiday !”
This was an absolute brilliant choice of hotel. From the moment you arrive they take special care of you . Believe me, you don't have to go anywhere during the day - you can just enjoy all the lovely facilities around the pool, the sundeck with white sea sand, or the , nearly, private beach. Some people may think the distance to Pataya is a problem, but once you have seen the overcrowded areas around Pataya beach, you will be very glad that you are far from there. For those of you who expect perhaps to find mainly english speaking guests all around you - well, this may be a disappointment - most of the guests will be from Russia or China - mainly tour groups. Really plus points are the sumptious breakfast in the morning, excellent (and really not expensive if you eat mainly Thai food) reataurant in the complex, as well as the few very handy shops next to the pool area - clothing and things that you have forgotten to bring from home for the children. All in all,an excellent choice to chill out and relax and be pampered by staff that know best how to do it. One of my most precious moments will always be the quiet evenings on the balcony of the restaurant overlooking the sea and the only sound you hear is the lapping of the water on the beach. Enjoy !
“Pattaya”
This hotel is very nice, but it's far from everything and you must take the hotel shuttel or taxi to get to the central place.
“Nice Hotel, but a little remote.”
I stayed 3 days on a business trip. The hotel was fine, room was nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was typical, with a good variety of Thai and Western dishes. Fitness center, gift shop, business center all seemed to close around 7 or 8pm, a little early for my purposes. The hotel is a couple turns off the main drive and there are just a few small signs directing you to it. I didn't feel like I could easily walk to anything nearby. (too far and no sidewalks for much of the way to the main roads.) Nice Place, once you get there.
“Very poor service and treated rudely at the Garden Cliff”
After reading through the booking the breakfast for 2 people would have cost approximately $17 USD, even though it was just me staying there it would have included 2 all you can eat breakfasts. I pleaded with the manager that without blaming either I would be willing to pay half of the $20 USD for the breakfast in an attempt to satisfy and save face for both of us. She declined and said I will be forced to pay the bill prior to leaving and wasn't kidding as when I checked out she had two male staff waiting. They made sure I wasn't leaving until the bill was paid in full. There is something to be said about customer service and treating people right. You have to be flexible and respectful while in the service industry which is exactly what I expected from a 4.5 star resort. Unfortunately with this stay I was treated very poorly and would not recommend it to anyone. I paid for a pool view and got a view of an electrical transformer. As for the breakfast misunderstanding I attempted to concede and make it a win-win for both of us but was recieved with any understanding. I was told I paid for the least cost package and “what did I expect”. Management proved to be rude and only looking for what they can make in money today not for the future business. If I ever travel back to Pattaya it won’t be staying here. You will only be met with RUDE – DISRESPECTFUL – UNCOMPROMISING MANAGEMENT at the Garden Cliff. They are only here to make money now and not sustain future customers.
