One of the best value for money

Posted Sep 24, 2014
The best aspect is the location! Restaurants ,bars, clubs, shopping and the beach is close walking distance. Rooms are big, clean and well furnished for the price. Staff friendly, excellent wifi, loads of TV channels etc. I'd recommend this hotel friends.

Small but very nice and clean hotel. Beach and Walking street about 15 min easy walking. 10 baht bus ride or 30 baht taxi right at doorstep. My room was really nice, I was impressed. Staff is polite and always ready to help. Hotel has a restaurant downstairs with very good prices.

Cold and unhelpful. Single worst hotel experience

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: They were nice enough to direct me to a van back to Bangkok
When I showed up they informed me of a 1000 baht deposit on a 600 baht/night room. When I complained and said it didn't mention this on the expedia booking they just told me I had to pay or couldn't have the room. After that they were not friendly or helpful as I heard her say I was a "problem customer" for not just paying the deposit. When I realized I left my passport in Bangkok they wouldn't let me check-in. I understand there is a law in Thailand that they can not let me check-in without the passport but to be totally unhelpful other than to direct me to the van back to Bangkok was surprising. I've been at several hotels in several places where people have lost or had their passports stolen. This is the first one I've ever seen or been to that just said "Oh, no passport. Goodbye." No attempts to help, concern or anything. They knew I'd prepaid and just shrugged with a smile. This is the single worst experience in a hotel from all my travels (more than 20 years now). I'd never go back here.

Expedia page clearly states 1000 baht deposit is charged and passport is required. Guests failure to read is no excuse to blame the hotel. Guest expectation for hotel to break the law is simply insane. If guest forgot the passport, there is not much hotel can do.

**AVOID THIS HOTEL**

Posted Mar 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The lobby smells like cat urine, the dog "rocky" the hotel keeps as a pet kept waking us up during the night barking. the bed had no support, the bathroom fixtures were in poor condition, as well as the bathroom itself. the drain in the shower wouldnt drain. The room didnt look at all what it looked like in the picture online. The "free breakfast " was a joke, not enough food for a child to eat let alone an adult. There are too many other things i could write about this cheap, dishonest, dirty, sleazy place. I think my wife and I would have been better off sleeping in the street than in this dump. The only "good" reviews are posted by the hotel owner on this site.

Lobby can not smell like cat when hotel has a dog. Dog is disabled with broken back, broken legs and broken MOUTH, dog can hardly move around let alone make noise or bark. When guests require bathroom fixtures and bed support then Deluxe rooms would be more suitable and naturally priced accordingly. Guest booked the cheapest room with 45% discount If there is a problem with drain, reception should be notified. Rooms are exactly as pictured in the room description NOT In the main photo. Main promotional photo is of Deluxe room. Hotel does not serve full buffet breakfast for cheapest rooms. If provided breakfast is not sufficient, hotel does have a large menu where more food can be ordered from as little as $2

Dissapointing. Dont stay there.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything, especially the receptionist's attitude.
Location: The location is ok, but we didn't stay there long enough to say about things to do.
This hotel is below any expectations. The man at the reception was rude and unhelpfu,l and made us feel unwanted. We had to wait for our room to be ready about 45 mins, despite the check in time is 2pm, and we got to the hotel at 2:40pm. When we asked about the room the receptionist said, the cleaning staff were not robots. The room wasn't cleaned properly. It was terrible, the bed was uncomfortable, the furniture filthy and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all - hair in the shower cubical, a cigarette ash in the sink. No complimentary toilletries. The reception area/ dining area/ bar area - were disgraceful, tatty ripped furniture, animals sleeping everywhere on furniture. We decided to check in to a different hotel and for an extra £6 a night we got 5* hotel, with a wonderful view. We lost the money paid in advance for the room at the Pattaya Holiday Lodge but it was worth it. All in all terrible place, we would never stay again or reccomended it to anybody.

Firstly, let me say i am very pleased guests found 5 STAR hotel with wonderful view for £26/1300thb , after all 5 STAR hotels normally charge 10 times the amount especially over New Years. Guests did arrive at 14:40pm and were advised room is being cleaned and should be ready in 10-15 mins, response was a dissatisfied face with a growl. Guest were explained hotel is sold out/full and some guests check out late, hence the delay, yet another growl and dissatisfied face. 15 mins later, room was ready and guests were able to check in, however during checking in when asked to pay minibar/security deposit(as stated in the booking), they refused. At this stage, guests were advised they would not be able to check in, unless deposit is paid, this was met with another growl and dissatisfied face, followed by remark, they did not have money. 10 or so mins later, guests found money, paid deposit and were checked in. Cheapest room in 2 star hotel does not provide complimentary toiletries and hotel page does not say hotel did.

Its an OK OK stay

Not a gr8 stay for a family. We could manage coz we were bachelors. Geaser was not working in the room and the body shower gel is charged a 20 thb if used. And while check out; the deposit amount given to us is a torn note of 1000 thb. When asked; it was told that it will be acceptable in the family mart opposite to the hotel & the guys at the mart were not accepting the note. We had to go back to the hotel and ask for a proper note and the reply was the same.. We had to ask like a tough guy to get a proper note. Overall we rate it 2.5/5.

Hotel does not allow guests under 18 years of age, so clearly not a family hotel. Though having 2 adult males, book into the cheapest room, which also happens to be the smallest room, with smallest bed would make it very uncomfortable. Cheapest rooms also happen to have smallest water heaters since the room is designed for 1 person, so the water heater needs time to reheat the water, even more so when one takes 45 minute shower. Any items from minibar are charged as per price list attached, which does include 90 ml bottle of shower gel. There is no family mart opposite the hotel, next to hotel or anywhere near the hotel. Have checked with staff and CCTV footage and the 2 esteem guest from India left the hotel after having free breakfast with no problems at all, having booked and stayed for 1 night only..

Great value hotel, with helpful friendly staff.

Very good value hotel in good location. Far enough away from the busy nightlife so not to be disturbed at night, yet only a short walk away from the market. I also hired a motorcycle from the hotel gor under £4 a day, so it was very easy to get around. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Alex and Tar. On my next visit to Thailand I'll be staying here again.

I am very sorry about your experience, person responsible was immediately identified, police was called and all particulars were given to police, CCTV footage, including address, copy of id card, photo and house registration book of the thief. Staff did assist with police reporting, guest was assisted with a number of favors including a free ride to his next destination in Bangkok(fully paid by the hotel). This was first time ever to happen as hotel does have 16 camera's covering every inch of the premises. Again i am very sorry about the incident, sadly police were not very proactive even with all the information provided.
