One of the best hotels in Pattaya

Posted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: Direct access to Beach Road and proximity to Walking Street.
Cons: Heard a lot of noise from the room next door, very early in the morning. The guests were packing for an early check-out. The walls must be paper thin.
Location: Direct access to Beach Road. Walking Street is easy to walk to. Shopping, restaurant, and massage options galore, next door and up along the block.
Parked our car with the valet, and were offered assistance with our bags immediately upon arrival. Check-in was smooth. Staff showed us to the room, which was helpful because the hotel grounds are sprawling, especially around the pool area. Overall had a pleasant stay for 2 nights and would give a strong recommendation for the hotel if you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel experience. It is one of the top 5 hotels in Pattaya. Location is unbeatable if you want to be along Beach Road and near Walking Street. It is very easy access from the hotel to Beach Road especially if you stay in the garden view rooms. There is a hotel restaurant, Dicey's, which is also top notch if you are looking for pub style food.

The hotel is located in the busy city of Pattaya!!

While Pattaya is full of hustle and primarily night time activity, the Marriott was a respite with their very nice garden and sort of isolated quietness... It was a nice surprise for a last minute business trip. The location is rather hard to find for a first time visitor but I would assume that is based on the real commercial aspects of the city. Great staff!! Thanks...

Luxury and location

Pros: The pool area is a little paradise. We spent and hour every day in the fully equipped gym.
Cons: Housekeeping got a bit sloppy for a couple days after our regular maid went on holidays. The front desk was very responsive in fixing the situation.
Location: The hotel is right across the street from the beach. It is attached to a very good mall. Close to Walking Street with lots of evening activity.
We are a couple in our 60s and came for a relaxing vacation. We got everything we needed here. It is a good climate, good environment with lots of things to do - or not do as you chose. Not the best beach in the world, very narrow and the chairs are bunched together, but it is a beach. There are lots of hotels to chose from, but we have nothing but good feelings about staying at the Marriott. Althought there is lots of activity going on in the town, we found our hotel room a quiet oasis whenever we returned to it. Very quiet at night for sleeping.

Disappointed. It's a very run down property. Average staff . No English language capability. Not well Trained at all. 3 star being sold as 4.5 star.

Was a great Hotel to stay at. Great Location and comfy rooms. My only concern were the prices to use the internet in the business centre. To charge 195 Thai Bart for 15 minutes when you could simply walk across the street to a chemist and use the same internet for 1 Bt per minute was a little extreme.

Very good Hospitality by the hotel staff...I like the bar adjacent to the pool. Though we had a bit of Air Conditioning water leakage one night but the manager gave us a suite room immediately. All in all a very good experience..Surely recommended !!
