Location: Near Salem, Massachusetts.
The room (#226) smelled of urine. The carpets were stained and the overall condition of the room was poor. The odour was the worst part. The breakfast was poorly stocked and of poor quality. The staff were inattentive. We sat ourselves and after several minutes we had to help ourselves to the orange juice behind the staff area. We finally were able to find someone to ask for replenishment of the yogurt, fruit etc. and to ask for coffee. Nobody approached our table the entire time we were in the restaurant. There appeared to only be two people working the entire restaurant with a additional staff member dropping by briefly to help. We later saw him in an office at the front talking with a staff member. I definitely would not recommend the hotel, or the breakfast.

When we arrived at our room an hour and a half after check-in we had to wait out in the hall while they cleaned the room. We left for the evening and came back only to discover that we were locked out of our room. When we ent to the desk to let them know they have excuses based on being at full captivity. Appologies and excuses don't get you far with 2 small children in tow after a long day stuck in the hall - again.

Pros: RELATIVELY CLEAN, CLOSE TO GOOD RESTAURANTS
Cons: UNFORTUNATLY THE WALLS ARE VERY THIN, EVERY WORLD CAN HERE FROM YOUR NEIGHBOR.
Location: LOCATED ON A VERY BUSY STREET/HWY?/ LOT OF RESTAURANTS NEARBY, AND A BIG SHOPPING MALL
THE HOTEL IS IN GOOD SHAPE,BUT THE LOCATION IS 20 KM AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN. THE SHUTLE SERVICE IS FREE, FOR 5 MI..PROBLEM IS THE CLOSEST SUBWAY STATION IS 11MI. WI-FI IS NOT WORKING, ONLY IN THE LOBBY AREA.

Bed extremely comfortable. Towels were perfect - large and thick. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - everything cooked to perfection. We got there late, so it was nice having a restaurant next door. I needed ice but the machine was broken on our floor - annoying to have to go up to the second floor for ice. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Pros: The Staff was excellent.
Cons: We had a great experience.
Location: Loved having a Sonic nearby. There were great restaurants very close to the hotel. North Shore Mall was nice and close.
Hotel staff was excellent. The front desk team was informative and very helpful in navigating around Boston area. They even remembered us the next day and asked how the day ended up being. Would stay again.

Pros: the room was very nice. I liked the bed and bath linens. They were really nice.
Cons: The breakfast buffet. The French toast had obviously been sitting for awhile as it was pretty hard around the edges. They need to check on it.
we only ended up staying one night because my husband got sick and we had to leave.

Pros: Clean, excellent beds!!! We had a much needed good night's sleep. Also, the staff is kind and accommodating.
Cons: After breakfast, there is no reasonably good food available. We needed to drive to a restaurant as the nearby Tim Horton's is less than satisfactory.
Location: There is really nothing to do nearby. Hotel residents must have a car.
Very clean hotel with very good breakfast and coffee available through the day and night. One negative is the lack of good food in the vicinity. The Tim Horton restaurant is less than satisfactory.

Older hotel. Well maintained. Very helpful & friendly staff. Noisy air conditioning & spotty wifi coverage in rooms. Reasonable fitness & pool facilities. Well located for our just north of Boston stay.

We stayed for one night on July 4th. All the other hotels were booked and some others were out of our price range. For the same price that we paid for this room, we had better experience at other hotel just down the road. This hotel has fancy furnishings and a great looking lobby, but they don't even offer coffee after certain hours. There is a single cup coffeemaker in the room and extra coffee pouches are $1.50 each. The breakfast is very expensive. A bowl of oatmeal is $5, waffles $10, an omelette $11, toast $2 and so on. The bathroom did not have a fan or a heat light or a window, it got very stuffy in there. The hotel doesn't have proper ventilation and you can smell an odd smell in the hallways. Our room's A/C probably didn't have an outside opening, all the water was condensing on the inside of the window. The wall close to the A/C unit had quite a bit of mold. Worst part of all was the view from the window. One side of the whole building has to look out on the rooftop of an extension of this hotel. It doesn't matter whether you stay on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor, if you are on this side of the building, that's what you get to look at.
