Great family hotel!

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Pool
Cons: Maybe the dinner but it was grand for free.
Location: Handy for getting in and out of Boston specially as it has free parking!
Great hotel, nice breakfast and brilliant pool! Rooms were a great size separate bedroom which was great for the kids. Free dinner during the week saved money with a family.

Pet acceptance

Posted Jul 4, 2014
I was very disappointed about the fact that pets were accepted. I now know that I will ask in the future if pets are allowed. We were woken up every morning before 8:30 by the dog across the hall barking when the owners left him in the room all day. The last night we listened to a dog above us cry and whine for about an hour and a half. I should have called the front desk but I figured we would be the ones to move rooms and I didn't want to be inconvenienced or cause a problem. From now on I will call anytime I have a problem with my stay. Upon checking out the manager felt bad but couldn't give us a reimbursement since we booked through Expedia. She then offered us snacks from their store.

I would come back!

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Comfort - easy to get to - wonderful staff - very kid friendly!
Cons: I can't think of anything, other than more "tourist" information like flyers/brochures/maps, or a small gift shop.
Location: Close to down town Boston, close to Salem, close to Gloucester Harbor, close to great restaurants serving fresh seafood and live Lobsters.
Very nice rooms, quiet - no noise through the walls, wonderful comfortable mattress! Woke up rested. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

disappointing compared to similar properties.

Posted Jun 17, 2014
few things in the room did not work. In general the decor is dated and worn out. The breakfast is below par and staff is semi-friendly. I would consider similar properties by Marriott or Hyatt instead.

Pros: From the warm hospitality of Ms. Mariah at the time we entered and the great advice by Ms. Joan, at the front desk and the overall cleaniness.........
Cons: Not much if nothing at all, it was a dream hotel to stay at and if ever in the city of Boston, without any hesitation would stay there again....
Location: On Highway 1, with lots of restaurants without the high cost of food of downtown Boston and still with great food value. With a shopping center nearby
Immediately entering the hotel, you can tell there has been updating renovations as the hotel feels fresh, clean and new....Greeted by the most polite front office desk person I have ever encountered (and I travel extensively) with a warming, authentic and beautiful smile, Ms.Mariah, makes you feel like you're a VIP. The suite was very clean, comfortable and spacious for our mini vacation. The bed was comfy and all you want from a suite room. Service was impeccable, starting from the minute we entered the room and decided it was best to have a rollout bed for our toddler....and within minutes, it was delivered all prepared and ready for use. Located just off Highway 1, it is a straight line drive into Boston and without the high hotel cost of downtown. The hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants however, with the complimentary full breakfast and complimentary supper dishes offered by the hotel, there is no real need to eat out, unless you bring in food in the most appointed kitchenette I have ever seen in a hotel....Just a great hotel, great personnel and a great time...Recommended to all and we would definitely return back again....You will pleasantly be surprised at the extreme good value for the cost ratio of this hotel....

Very good all suite hotel near main Boston sights

Posted May 11, 2014
This is very good all suite hotel with excellent and extremely helpful staff. The hotel is central to the main Boston sights, though I would recommend hiring a car. The room amenities (lounge area, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette), gym and pool were all very good. Really nice complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee available 24 hours a day and complimentary dinners Mon-Thurs. Our only gripes were with elevator noise (the hotel moved us at our request), the sofa beds need upgrading or replacing and the maid service was bit hit and miss. All in all, would definitely stay here again.

Lack of notice

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Great location for traveling around the Boston metro area.
Cons: Better pro-active communication and follow through. Need to state clearly via reservation and on their website when the hotel is under renovation.
Location: Great access to 93, 95 and US1.
I prepaid for a room with two double beds and upon arrival was given a room with one king bed. The desk clerk stated they had last minute mechanical issues. It was clear based on ongoing construction that this wasn't a last minute issue. We were promised an appropriate room the next day. They desk clerk stated they would move our items and to place them by the door. Upon our return later that evening, our items were still in the original room.

Nice location,,,

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Good value
Cons: Educate the guest not to hinder the movement of guests for their convenience.
Location: good location if you know the roads. Lots of quality restaurants and family restaurants nearby. Airport about 30 minutes away.
Going thru a renovation, so expect a little confusion during the day. All the staff were professional. Especially the front desk clerk, Donna. (a real professional in the hospitality business) Tell the housekeeping staff to move their carts to one side or the other. Every time we came in or out, we had to move their carts. No need to do that every time!!!
