Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston-Peabody

After doing an extensive search for where to stay in/near Boston, we came up with this place and boy, was it a great choice! The main positives were: 1)While 15 miles from Boston, the drive was easy and hardly any traffic going or coming, 2)Great hotel for a family of six, 3)Breakfast food was fantastic and while we only were able to done one of the evening's food days, that was also very good, 4)Hotel staff were very friendly, 5)There were lots of places to eat within driving distance.

This hotel was more accomodating than I expected! The employees were all very helpful and attentive! Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and think it's a great place to stay if you're visiting Boston and the surrounding area. I was slightly concerned having read reviews that we would find it difficult to locate due to it's position at the intersection of several roads, but we never had any problem. As a family of 5 we had a suite with 2 rooms, one with 2 double beds and a separate lounge area with a sofa bed/kitchen. This was very practical, but unfortunately the sofa bed we had was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. We told reception the following day and requested a roll out bed instead for one of the children to use. This was promptly supplied but there was no word of apology and I do wonder if they will have done anything about the sofa bed for the next user. The breakfasts were great and they even provide dinner if you're there Mon to Thurs. There's also a nice indoor swimming pool. The location is not picturesque, but is is practical. There's a great pizza restaurant, Santarpios, 2 doors away and you can drive into Boston in about 20 mins and park for $18 a day (Constitution Center parking).

I was very pleased with our stay, except with the fact the pool was closed 2 out of the 4 days we were there! They did make arrangements for guests to use the pool at a nearby hotel, but with 4 children in tow and it being cold...it was not fun to pack everyone up to go use a pool. Overall, the room was great...big enough for 6 of us and the price was just right! The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Didn't care to much for the free suppers. Great location for everything on our agenda!

With a family of 6, it is difficult to find a hotel that suits our needs. We were pleasantly surprised that dinner (for all of us) was included every night of our stay. That saved us enough for us to add another activity!
