Needs renovation
The hotel badly needs renovation. It looked it was built decades ago and being maintained from that time. The carpets, bathrooms everything can use repairs and reonovation.

Selected this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. When we went to counter to get pool towels was told their machine that cleans bottom of pool just broke down and there was dirt on bottom of pool but water was clean and chemical levels were normal. Went to pool and the bottom was almost completely covered in dirt so we didnt go in. Went to use hot tub and the water wasn't even close to being hot which didnt matter since the jets didnt wotk when you turned it on. The room was nice and bed comfortable but pillows really sucked. There was no liner for ice bucket and the wrappers that the plastic cups came in were torn and full of holes. We will be staying someplace different if we need a room in Pecos again.

The staff was very nice and professional but the room was very old. Tile replace with calking in the bathroom. Walls in bathroom were dirty. Carpeting very old and not clean. I was In room 115. Furniture old. We stayed at property in El Paso and that property is amazingly clean and updated. Pecos property can learn a lesson.

Not impressed for being a Holiday Inn
Got into room and the sofa bed was broke and held together with a wire clothes hanger. Was fruit loops under the sofa. The armoire was broke and falling apart. Breakfast was not all that great. Had the front doors open in the morning during breakfast and it was freezing through the hallways and breakfast area.
